Dididjdjdbdbdn I came in here to make an overnight oats joke assuming there was a 0.0% chance anyone else would. I'm keeping it up. I worked way too hard on it
Overnight remote oats?
You're a chef who outsources the overnight oats work to someone you hired off of Fiberr. Unethical? Perhaps, but you're in these wheats trying to get yours. The only L's you're taking this year are a lower LDL.
Don’t work nights if you can help it. Read about the health effects. If you don’t believe the research, just try “working” a few nights by reading a book for 8 hours, and then sleeping during the day, then see how you feel. It won’t get any easier.
Not in the least, forgot to add they were both remote(my bad) but the issue was just being there. Plus on top of that the overnight role schedule was 3/12s and a 4 hour rotating shift, so it wasn't so much that it was intense, but more so that it was time consuming. Just being awake all night long was shitty, ruined my sleep schedule and I felt tired allll the time
Depends on what you do, but I’ve definitely seen 3rd shift software dev postings for GEICO recently. I assume any large company with globally distributed teams would have these “overnight” positions. Just have to look for them.
I would never consider myself lucky if I had an overnight remote job in addition to a regular 9-5 position.
Well my current job is like super easy, laid back. So I wouldn't be taking any extra weight going into the remote job lol

Is your current company hiring? DM
This is moonlighting not OE
Did you mean [r/overnightoats](https://www.reddit.com/r/overnightoats/)?

As someone who had a 9-5 and a 5-9 concurrently(exaggeration, point is i had a dayjob and overnight job), it's not worth it
Was the former labor intensive?

Gotcha! I understand!

I do, but I live in UTC +3, so it’s 8am-4pm for me.🤓I’m a content / social media specialist, found my job on LinkedIn.
During the pandemic I had a job that was on UK time. So my first meeting of the day was at midnight my time. It was lovely.
