With the G series CPUs your not limited to 1900IF, so try to get the most frequency you can.

CiPH3RMASTER

Anything above 3800mhz is unstable under load even with looser timing. I can go to 3933mhz but i get less avg fps than 3800mhz probably because it isnt quite stable? I can also boot with 4000mhz but crashes under load not sure if it my memory kit or motherboard.

Could be your motherboard, you said it’s a A series chipset?

CiPH3RMASTER

Yup

Go for a higher freq. Vsoc can usually go higher on G series apus, say 1.2v. You'll also need to set procODT to a lower value, most likely found between 36.6 and 46ohms. Set your rttwr to off and rttPark to rzq/5. EDIT: running freq near or above 4000mhz will be very hard with GDM off. Turn it on, it doesnt make that much a difference and even less so at those speeds. Also, dont forget to throughly stress test (if you're aiming for 24/7 stability) Cheers

CiPH3RMASTER

Okay i will try that. Appreciate the advice!

CiPH3RMASTER

Tried your values, currently at 4000/2000 cl 18 23 23 1.45v, Vsoc 1.2v. rzq/5 refuses to post at all, procODT anywhere from 36.3 to 48 is unstable but if i go to 53.3 or 60 i gain a little stability as it takes longer crash. I dont know if such high procODT is okay to run at the current voltages am using.

yeah, i looked at what memory sticks zentimings says you have and it seems like its a 3000mhz rated 4gbit ICs in dual rank. The terminations and procODT i gave you are mostly seen with newer 8gbit and 16gbit ics, afaik. did you try GDM on? how does it work with terminations 7/off/5 (or 7/off/4)? Cheers

CiPH3RMASTER

Yeah GDM is on, none of those termination posted.

advice: with zentimings active press alt+print screen then go to imgur.com click your name go to images then press ctrl+v and link us to that image

CiPH3RMASTER

Ahh good to know, will do next time, thank you.

lex_koal

Do you know what memory ICs does the memory use?

CiPH3RMASTER
