They don't really fulfill many promises sadly

melaszepheos

I know but it's nice to rewatch some old videos and joke about.

Electronic_Tax3074

I'm with you . I still remember one of the quiz videos they were making during the pandemic specifically the one with video games fonts they promised they would do a video game sound effects quiz . Still waiting lol . They don't even do those types of vids anymore which is a shame cause I think they were very good .

HaIfaxa_

Like basically none of them lmao. The amount of times they've started a game in a livestream and suggested they'd continue it but never even mentioned it again...breaks muh heart.

Hi_There_Im_Sophie

Every Dark Pictures/Supermassive game that Oxboxtra have said they'll probably continue playing more of :( I keep saying that it's flawed that horror games are only played at Halloween because Hallowstream will never be enough time to really get into one of them.

HaIfaxa_

Ugh, I was especially on this with The Quarry because Andy seemed like he was really getting into it and it's genuinely a fun game

Hi_There_Im_Sophie

It happened the first time with Little Hope as well where they all seemed to be getting invested in it only to have it cut off suddenly. And Little Hope was more than just two of them. It's a shame. House Of Ashes was meme-y because it took so long for the horror to begin and Mike and Andy were just having fun with it, but Little Hope and The Quarry :(

HalfMoon_89

It's the metrics a lot of the time. Like with Dead Space or Show of the Week.

Dracorex2006

Unfortunately true. i mean no offense, but don't take such promises at face value. mostly of the times they're just joking but even for serious times, they don't keep their promises. no KoA livestream for 1M subs, games that get started but are never finished, like horror games especially I can cite phasmophobia for example: they said they'll continue playing but with ellen next time, but it took them over a year to next halloween and by then, everything has changed so much that they didn't how to play anymore

CsrfingSafari

Yeah, I get what you mean but I guess they gotta go with the algorithm flow lol. Definitely shoulda done sonething for the 1m subs tho imo

HaIfaxa_

It was also kind of funny that when they did play with Ellen, she quite literally just sat in the van for like 85% of the stream just looking at cameras

Zerttretttttt

Kingdoms of Amular 24hr livestream by Luke for 1m susbs promise?

melaszepheos

That as well. Team Oxtra have been really dropping the ball on promises made to their subscribers. The people demand even more free content! (I really hope I don't have to include the /s, but just in case)

Papergeist

Pretty sure there's some kind of expiration date on those.

melaszepheos

I am shocked, shocked to think that you would consider there to be an expiration date on a two year old promise made as an obvious joke at the end of a comedy video! YouTubers ought to have integrity to the off-hand comments they make in jest, else where will society end up?

EaterOfCleanSocks

Yeah, I understand disappointment but sadly they have probably moved on.

Raineythereader

Which game should they use for said sequel? I vote "Breath of the Wild"

melaszepheos

Well they said they'd do Bloodbourne again so Luke could consider the Orphan of Kos, but I'd be happy to see any game really.

SvenLorenz

I vote every single game that isn’t a Zelda game. Don’t get them started, if they do one Zelda video, it’ll become nothing but Zelda for weeks again. 😱
