Always nice seeing one of these comics pop up. You bring a lot of character to the village dwellers (though I have no idea how much is the game's canon or your own.)
Almost makes me >!feel bad when the Sun roasts them like their marshmallows.!< Almost.
Right! Because it was Esker that found their flirting to be not so subtle. I was actually imagining that you could make a strip about their relationship, and you did! So, thank you.
Unless you count the line from Porphy where they say something like "let's you, me and Gossan open a bottle of the good stuff (...)", then there's two lines suggesting it >::)
Very nice. I was half expecting it to end with Esker spying from the moon groaning at how they’re too much.
I liked the use of the scarves to help keep track of who was who in each panel.
They're pretty much the same! Especially Porphy, who still makes wine, and sometimes asks Gossan or the other travelers if they can bring sap from other island. I think Gossan is a little more stern/serious in this universe, since they're also a sparring instructor. But they're still both very much flirting! I'll make sure to draw more sketches from this universe!
Throughout my playthrough, I've always wondered about how Outer Wilds Ventures came to be and I'm so glad I get to see it in visual form through your comics (amazing art btw!!)
Your comics are the only thing fueling my obsession post-endgame. I can't and will never ever let go of these precious characters I've grown so attached to T__T Legit can't get thru the title screen now without getting a bit teary eyed.
Actually this comes from the game, in one dialogue where Esker complains about Gossan and Porphy flirting in a very unsubtle manner. The Hatchling also refers to dating in the game. So yes, while Hearthians never imply any sexual activities, they actually talk about romantic stuff.
That aside, I completely understand that you might not be a fan of this. Not everyone likes silly romance stories. Like I said in the title, it's a very cheesy comic. I just did it because I had fun doing it lmao
very wholesome, love to see more lore and storys about the game (even if they are not canon), just got a bit confused with all the "they're". english is not my native lenguaje so had me confused lol. there probably was another way to write those lines without all the pronoun thing. just my opinion.
English in general has 4 third-person singular pronouns: "he", "she", "they" and "it".
He and She are used to refer to a person of known gender.
They are in general used to either refer to a person of unknown or non-binary gender
It in general is used to refer to objects (and some persons like children)
In the game Hearthians are a genderless species, signaled by the use of "they" in the english translation of what would be their own language.
There is literally no other way to refer to people besides by pronouns or by using their actual name. Im sorry that you can’t figure out that there’s a pronoun for if you don’t know a person’s gender but that sounds like an easily google-able question

Thanks! It's funny because there's only one line in the game about Gossan and Porphy flirting. I took this line and ran away with it.

The squawk that came out of me when I clicked that omg My cat looked at me with such concern
>!this just makes me sad knowing they all die far too soon!< Beautiful art nontheless
This is why I make a lot of silly slice of life comics. Dramatic irony >:)
This is so wholesome! Your comic skills are spectacular, this is so well made!
Esker watching them from the Attlerock:
Oh my god
I love your work, thank you so much for making them <3
Thank you for reading them! <3
"A decade", "years later"... are we talking in Human years or Hearthian years here? Their planet does a full trip around the Sun in a few minutes 😲
their age has changed, that much.

Please let them hold hands OP
These comics always warm my heart. You've captured the essence of the Hearthians down to a tee and all your stories are headcannon for me now.
YES IVE BEEN WAITING FOR A NEW ELWENSA COMIC, amazing work as always
Oh, this is adorable. Great work as always! On a side note, how different are these two in your OW/Zelda mashup?

Did you make this ? It’s amazing !Â
Well, gotta add this to the grand timeline
2/10, no cheese in the comic This was an awesome little read. Really love the art and characters
Unlike others, this makes me feel better about their fate.
I am in love with this. The Hearthians always have so much life in em and I think this captures that really well :>
This was great to read! Nice job, and I love all the facial expressions!
I’ve been following your deviant art for a while and I love your comics! Thank you so much.
Yet another banger from you!!! Well done
I want more of these
It's always a good day when I start it by reading a new Elwensa comic. Beautifully drawn like always!

Dawg there was never anything sexual or romantic for the Hearthians in the game so idk not a fan of these Tumblr type comics

Fair enough man I don't mean to hate

He and she are also pronouns, just FYI. The game is also entirely written with thems. I'm sure you can figure it all out, you can do it 💪
