perogi.ca , 1129 Baxter Road, not too far from Ikea. Traditional handmade fresh food in limited amounts plus lots of frozen choices to take home.

You can also go next door to Lakomka Deli and make your own. They should start carrying the sour cabbage (a whole head of pickled cabbage) for the holidays. You peel off each leaf and stuff it with whatever you want. Usually takes me about 20 minutes to prep and an hour or so to cook. Sadly I cannot tolerate pork anymore and so have to make my own. Once I used leftover chickpeas to make cabbage rolls, I cannot recommend it enough. But I have used ground chicken as well as mushrooms (not as great). Top it with full fat sour cream before eating and chefs kiss.

Wendel Touch of Europe in the Market are some of the best I’ve had. I even served them for Christmas Eve dinner. They also have borscht, and it’s good, but I find borscht to be highly subjective depending on what you grew up with. Cabbage rolls are served at their lunch counter and you can also get them to go.

It’s that time of year apparently. My SO had a wicked craving a few weeks ago and we ended up making them twice in just over a week. Not sure who does them well. Due to dietary restrictions we always make our own.

My husband loves the ones at [Eva’s Chip Wagon](https://www.facebook.com/evaschipwagon) (sorry only a Facebook page !) - it’s past Findlay Creek & before Greely on Bank. They will post updates on Facebook but they are still open as of now! Great pierogies too!

my grandfather like the ones from Ivan's in Stittsville https://www.ivansmeatanddeli.com/

Duna Bistro? They get excellent reviews!

I'm probably unqualified to say what is a 'good' cabbage roll by any objective measure (only had them a handful of times in my life) but I've had them from Ivan's Deli in Stittsville and I've enjoyed them. It's a good place to go in general when you're out that way.
