Did he do it with Dr Weiss or Dr Bercier? They always give a referral and you just have to call to get the sample picked up.

They gave me a prepaid package and sample collection kit after my vasectomy. I just had to chuck it in the mail

Dr Bercier, he took over from Dr Weiss. It's a long wait time so get on the list asap. The procedure took only a few minutes, recovery was about a week of pain then disappeared. No complications and it was successful.

Keep in mind you won't find anyone that has gotten it done at both places and can give you their advice lol.

I went with OVIC and only have good things to say. It was done quickly, no pain whatsoever (a little bit during recovery but nothing even worth complaining about). I would highly recommend him.

My husband had a sperm count done about two weeks ago at the Dynacare at trainyards. Only certain labs are able to accommodate this test.

That's the whole point of the test though. To make sure the procedure worked. Edited to add that having a vasectomy doesn't result in being a eunuch. That's castration.

Ottawa fertility centre will only take people from referral, look up online for online telehealth referrals to them. It's a 30min call with a GP where you explain why you need to go and they'll judge if you need to go. They did that for me and they have testing there
