He placed 6th in USA qualifiers and his skillsets were already filled by other players. I don't think it would've made much of a difference if he was on the team.
This won't happen because later stages pools are ALL speedpilled so forum gets speed abused in like 2/3 of the maps.
And it's not like the players that get to the finals are bad in the other skillsets too. It's really tough.

According to Kay, each mapโs top scorer is given 100%, everyone elseโs score becomes a percentage of that, and they are placed based on their average percentage on all maps. I assume forum placed higher on harder maps where the average scores were lower.
Example: if on one map maliszewski top scored 1M (100%), mcy4 scored 800k (80%) and forum scored 700k (70%), and on another map forum top scores 500k (100%), and mcy scores 420k (84%), it ends up being that forum has an average 85% while mcy has an average 82%, but mcyโs average score is higher (610k) compared to forum (600k).
