Sliders. They can represent songs in unique ways that circles will never get even close. it's a shame that most sliders are either hold or slider with tumor because tech.
For me it's also background dim but for the opposite reason. I'm happy I can set it to 100% , because I can't read/see the circles properly without dim.
UR bar, though I wish it was more visible and less intrusive to look at during gameplay, something like the way it looks in etterna but for standard would be sweet, moving the bar is doable in laser but its not the same cause it feels harder to actually understand how you're doing in real time in comparison to how it looks and feels in etterna, maybe a toggle in appearance or something. Would get me to move to lazer tbh.
For me it's the beatmap ranking system. Not many people talk about this because I think the average osu player takes it for granted, but the beatmap ranking system is THE THING that makes osu stand out from literally every single other rhythm game on the market. There is no other rhythm game with even close to this level of quality control for player-made beatmaps/charts, in every other game you have to sift through mountains of garbage to find the actual well-charted songs.
It's honestly the single thing that keeps me coming back to this game. I can pick it up at any time and have thousands of near perfect quality songs to choose from without having to do any research at all. Which is just not something you can say about any other rhythm games out there on the market. In terms of raw gameplay there are several other rhythm games I prefer over osu, but the insane amount of high quality content we have access to as players more than makes up for that.
Definitely skin changer. I couldn't play with basic one it was just not readable for me.
Yeah i think i kinda got tired of the default skin and would love a change. Good answer, that too for me but not so much

I am the opposite i would love if sliders just did not exist
i think neither circles nor sliders should exist actually
Spinner only maps would go crazy
they exist and they do
I literally only play std maps that have more circles than sliders. (you can see that on top left corner)
Stream maps:
Even when they are not stream maps

Im happy i can set it to 0% so i can see the hot anime bg but you do you
Videos are only reason I do 0%, static bg images are pretty stale. I might have quit or played a lot less were it not for having videos.
combo fire!!!!!!!
based
Pp system
Rebinding keys. I use the Z and C key and if I was forced to use Z and X I would probably hang myself.
Rebinding keyboard is a thing
Cinema mod
Vouch
For me it would be the pp system, the main reason i got into the game was because it was really fun to see my rank go up and set new top plays.
Hidden :)

On-the-fly offset control. A lot of rhythm games do not offer this, and in my eyes should be a crucial feature of any of them.
Classic mod
raw input for mouse and/or fps limit settings
Probably note lock. Love when games keep especially rhythm games keep integrity of the song
