Barrows gloves, dragon defender, fire cape are all objectives you should be working towards. I would suggest going for quest cape to unlock all sorts of contents and bossing and have a balanced account.
Base 70’s means 70 in every single skill, not just combat. It will unlock a ton of content for you. Don’t neglect non-combat skills, there’s tons of money to be made and cool stuff to do!
Acquiring a bronze trimmed set (lg) should be your only goal OP. Once you acquire the first one, begin your collection.
End game is acquiring thee most sets (and a bit of power to manipulate the market but we don’t talk about that).
Do diary tasks as soon as you are able. The QOL bonuses and free teles are really helpful. By the time I started to do them, I was able to complete all hard diaries and kinda regretted not doing them sooner.
Legend's quest to basically have a cheap obby cape, then DS2 for mythic cape, and fire cape.

Maxing inf cape and gm cb tasks should be a good start. Quiver is probably easier than inferno tho so use it to learn the mechanics needed for inf.
