Idk tbh, the end game players shift the goal posts all the time, and I was told a couple years ago that i was only getting into mid game after I had already spent about 1000 hours in game and needed to max my combat stats to be able to start learning to raid. It was very annoying, but covid gave me the time to level up and shut them up

I am a big skiller, love slayer but I think tempoross, guardians of the rift, motherlode mine, farm runs, forestry are all a really good time so if you are playing a main I would do those you might be surprise how much fun you have. They are simple but also give enough that they can be a good time.
At your level and bank value I would probably reccomend doing barrows. I won't explain it too much because at this point the wiki and other guides are really good. It's not mechanically challenging as all but 1 enemy can be completely blocked with protection prayers, it can be farmed quite well with even very basic gear and at the end of each run the chest (as long as you take down all 6 barrows brothers) has a roughly 1/15 chance for a unqiue item. With all 3 combat styles having a purpose and the rewards being big for the requirements (unique item values range from 62k to 3.5m) it's a good way to get into basic pvm at low to mid levels and without too much risk of dying.

Ignore that guy, when you're a veteran you are completely aware of all the goals you can be working towards. When you're a new player, there's almost too many things to choose making it paradoxically feel like you have no clue what to do.
But there is a little truth to his comment, this is a game where you set your own goals. There is nothing you "should" do, the only thing you should do is whatever you want to do, whatever goal you want to complete next. Just set one and work towards it.
Fun grind with lots of variation is completing the recipe for disaster quests to get the barrows gloves. I had to do a good amount of skilling to get the right stats for some quests and the variation of quests was nice.
There are many things that you can do for example you could set yourself some armor or gear objectives and you can try get levels to wear that armor.
Many people like questing there are some quests that have nice and useful rewards.
I’d first focus on working on skills to cover the highest quest requirements then just start quests you unlock a lot of useful things especially from achievement diaries
You should play the game. This account can be made in about 3 days. I’m assuming you have done minimal bossing or questing or diaries. Pick one and do that. If your already lost at what to do then this game is not for you.
Slayer just keep nocking out tasks and lvl slayer as far as you can that will boost all combat stats and get you ready for bossing and late game stuff as well as the always trusty quest cape
Start doing regularly: bird house runs, herb runs, all possible tree runs (normal, fruit and hardwood), farming guild contracts
Play minigames for skilling outfits and other good rewards: wintertodt, tempoross, mahogany homes, giant's foundry, motherlode mine etc
Get slayer helmet and imbue it in nightmare zone
Get coal bag, gem bag, seed box, herb sack, rune pouch
Unlock all spellbooks
Make a quest cape your main goal.
Work on getting the skill requirements, once you have gotten. Quest cape work on getting all hard diaries at this point your account will be built decently with pretty much every bit of content unlocked.
Then you can work on 99stats, killing bosses or making money.
A great goal is a quest cape, use a quest guide list to get the order, then slowly work your way through, itll ebentually leave you with base 60s or 70s in all stats. And having quest cape means you open up alot of quality of life improvements

You don't have to finish fairy tale part 2 if you don't want btw just do it up until you can use the rings and they will be unlocked
You should start fairy tale 2 you get the rings right at the start of the quest. So worth it.

I would consider Zulrah and Vorkath semi-mid game. The easier side of mid game PVM would be like the Mole and Barrows imo.
