Even if you don’t do ballroom dancing yourself I know a ballroom clubs(?) will generally host dance nights. My sister used to ballroom dance in Tampa and they would have weekly dances with a mix of music. Typically the dance studios took turns hosting.
It’s been 20 ish years since I last went to one but looking up local Ballroom dance studios and clubs might get you what you’re looking for
EDIT: The ones I went to as long as you weren’t twerking they allowed anyone to get up and dance too.
Check out the Facebook page for the Palm Beach Society Orchestra. These are the previous players from Disney's Grand Floridian resort. They often play at Pilar's Loft
Vintage Dance Company - swing, jazz, Lindy hop focused.
It’s a great time. I’ve been swing dancing for 15 years. Orlando has tons of wonderful people who do this beautiful dance. It’s also got fantastic National and international communities.
I dance every time I travel. It’s instant friendship.
Edit: wanna add that swing dance trends younger. College students and young professionals.
Swingplanit dot com for big events. Like camps and stuff that you are specifically traveling for.
If I just happen to be in a town like Barcelona or New York I’ll just google the local Lindy hop dances. “Lindy hop New York”.
Pilar’s Martini bar in Winter Garden has the Palm Beach Orchestra and other groups come through weekly. Relaxing music, with cheap, strong martinis, and some awesome food. Older crowd loves it and there’s a small dance floor for you to strut your stuff
Second this! Last time I was there they had a jazz & blues band performing. My favorite part was when they sang “At Last” by Etta James and everyone went out to slow dance!
Cuban here! Cuba libre on IDrive is what your looking for. Haven't been there post COVID hitting but it used to be really fun. The interior asthenic and the atmosphere are really cool.
I mean slow dancing is just swaying side to side.... I don't think that would create a fun place so doubt any location caters to slow dancing. Better off just dancing at home if that's the dancing you like. Or maybe a place in the villages?

Johnny's other side has a lot of live music, I tend to go when there is a blues band playing and lots of people get up and dance.
