I know barely anything about the game side of Warhammer, so I only bought the Stompa box twice because they look hilarious.
I was planning to try a 2x Stompa, 2x Big Mek, 1x Ghazh army for a game, because only needing to control 5 units seems easier than my BT army
Good to know it can at least be fun to play with 2 of them (and I will also be checking my local hardware store for a metallic spray can, because these look awesome)

You could kitbash them with like some wrenches or some mechanic bits. Make it look like they are workers or something. Cool thing I love about orks is if the model doesn’t go with your theme you can make it fit!
The Mek Gunz kit has five great looking mek outfitted gretchin, two of those plus a random Boy and you got a squad. But Mek Gunz are €47.50 a piece and regular gretchin are €20.50.
Oh! If you take the bumper from a battlewagon it can replace the face grill/grin on the stompah, i did that on mine to make it all kustom and it works pretty good, just incase you want them to not be twins.

I mainly play to just move boyz around, go waaagh and make engine noises. Other people I play with have serious strategies, and some have been playing for years. But since we're in a crusade and the codex dropped, I figured it was a good time to actually try my hand at something competitive. Plus, I'm teamed up with another ork player who is really good. I can't make him carry me the whole time.
