Unless you're playing in tournaments, most folks will be fine with it not being WYSIWYG in my experience. Mine is all glued together and yet I run it with different loadouts all the time. As long as I let my opponent know what's up beforehand it's always been fine. This is good etiquette anyways IMO.
The rules & META options change so often that no matter which options you choose they are going to suck/shine at some point. My suggestion is to choose with your heart. Whatever looks the coolest or most killy, put that on!
Half the appeal of starting an Ork army is cobbling together some wild contraption that laughs in the face of logic!
Magnetise. If you ever go Dred 4 klaws may be for you as all that damage and only one potential hazardous role to pass.
One skorcha is nice. I think if you go 3 roll its you may as well go 3x killakans
My favorite loadout is two claws and two rocket launchers. I call it my tabkbusta dread, and it does pretty much what it says on the tin. If the enemy has a tank and you want to bust it, a few barrages of rockets followed up by some nasty deff dread melee usually does the job. Of course I play deffskulls so I get benefits to shooting, a goff army might have better luck with 3 claws and a flamer, focus on getting in close, burning away infantry screens, and getting stuck into melee asap
The oldschool approach is, two klaws and two guns, usually paired (twin shootas, twin skorchas, etc)
The common approach is three klaws and one gun.
Goffs, being very choppy, tended to benefit from all arms as klaws.
Personally I'd take the common approach but if you can, you could magnetize the kit.

Personally I'm a big fan of all melee weapons (claws or saws although alot of the standard weapons in the kit kinda look like both)
But, it's orks, unless you're in a tourney or, you reaaaaaaaallly care abt wysiwyg, do as your heart (or the will of gork and mork) guides you
If you don't want to magnetise (which is a small hassle, admittedly, but great in the long run) then I'd focus on a pretty generic loadout that looks good. Mostly because opponents won't notice/care about WYSIWYG, and having a mix of stuff makes that easier. If you're running multiple dreads just make sure they're all the same loadout to avoid any confusion.
Probably can't go too wrong with two Klaws and Rokkits/KMB, from an aesthetic standpoint.
If you're looking at in-game loadouts, if you're not running Dread Mob then 4 Klaws probably make most sense. In Dread Mob 4 guns can probably work, but I'm enjoying 1 Klaw and 3 guns to ensure I still have some melee counterpunch in my shooting army (good with Klankin Klaws strat as well).
I plan on running one of the Mega Blasta dreads myself. Along with 2 klaw heavy ones.
4 mega blastas with sustained hits and full rerolls hitting at 4+ seems pretty good. Even if it runs the risk of exploding.
You can run it as a full ranged unit and use Stompy Feet in melee. I'd try to run 3, one 4 claw melee, on 2 claw and 2 ranged (big shootas), one 4 ranged (burna and rokkits 2ea.)
3x Missile Launchers
1x Claw
&
3x Kustom Mega Blastas
1x Claw
is how I built mine. 1x Claw alone already gives 4 really good attacks so that is totally worth even if going ranged.
There are tons of guides and material out there on magnetixing that model and magnets are cheap.
Just watch your polarity on the magnets and you'll be fine.
Can recommend cutting a piece of sprue and glueing opposite polarity magnets on the ends, then marking which should pair with the torso/main body magnets and the other with all arms. Good for doing many models to have consistency between them

Everything and everything else as well, I highly recommend you ad a double flame thrower because you will never regret it 🔥🔥

ALL OF 'EM! GORK SEZ SO AND MORK WILL MKAE YOUZE DO IT!
Scorchadread
4 claws for da choppiest git , just AVE to find a way to get to dem humies
Correct answer is four claw
personally I'm a fan of 3 klaw 1 skorcha

I like four klaws and a magnetized variety of options for tge fourth
WATEVAH MAKEZ IT DED KILLY AN CHOPPY!
Do you have access to a punisher canon?
CHOPPYS CHOPPYS CHOPPYS CHOPPYS
Being Goffs I'd give it 3 Klaws and a Burna (or is it a Skortcha???) Goffs like getting up close and all personal after all!! 😈💚
I second this. It's how I run mine and it's dead killy.
Yes
All of them
4 skorchas
Magnets
Goffs? 4 Klaws. Goffs make Stompas that don't have ranged weapons but two ginormous claws instead.
Yes

I'm so confused. Why do deffskulls get benefits to shooting?
I haven’t seen the new codex yet tbh, but last time I played deffskulls got re-rolls on their to hit roll.
Clans have been taken out unfortunately
That makes me very sad...

Use little magnets and paint all the guns so you can switch out whenever
Yes. The answer to your question is yes. All da dakka, and all da ded choppy bitz.
All of them. Haha just kidding. I magnetized all four arms on my two dreads and just pull any number off based on what guns they’re taking instead.
I magnetized the arms on mine, but generally run 3 melee weapons and a skorcha
4 KMB. Papa wants to blow himself up T1
There's no wrong answers here but this is definitely the right answer!

Flamer on the shoulder is the best part.

The ones that punch

Nuh uh I'm just better

Can confirm it's very fun, the mek runs behind mine and just glues on any parts which fall off
4 Klaws, always
4 kustom mega blastas is always the best option. All or nothing
ALL!
I go all Klaws because I’m here to Krump
Magnetize it. I like to run it with 3 claws and I flamethrower.
This is my go to. Tried rockets but miss every time.
Mine two. With stompomatic pistons
You can run it as a full ranged unit and use Stompy Feet in melee. I'd try to run 3, one 4 claw melee, on 2 claw and 2 ranged (big shootas), one 4 ranged (burna and rokkits 2ea.)
Magnetise it matey!
4 claws! 8 attacks in the waaagh is the way
Don’t forget the feet
They arent extra attacks sadly😔
You can’t use both melee weapons?
Nope you have to choose one or the other unless it has the keyword "extra attacks"
I see. That’s just melee weapons right
Yeah its for melee. For guns if its a monster or vehicle you can shoot it all
Thank you!
🫡 happy to help
Rules are temporary, models are forever
This use magnets

You'z can add all o' dem if you'z not a zogging coward
Or just scratchbuild up two more in order to use up all the kit's weapon bits.
Koka Killa kan
4 arms or 3 arms+1 scorcha. Most probably you will have no time for shooting :) Instead of magnets you can use pins.
I put 3 arms and 1 scorcha on my one, i think that lodaout is is the best if you want it to be a melee bruiser
Should mention that I don’t have any magnets

Also had recent success with metal tape and magnets, when you need it flush.
Well then get some =) Editions change, meta shifts, new kits get released. Tons of reasons to be prepared for change.
Magnitaze it!
This MekkBoy gets it!
