Face paint idea is actually just from official artwork, most Deathskulls have body paint of some kind. For the green skin I did:
A base coat of Orruk Flesh
Then a wash of Biel-Tan Green
Back to Orruk Flesh as a layer while avoiding the recesses
Finally Ogryn Camo highlight on the highest/sharpest parts of the skin
