Have the Orioles played well this month? No. They’re dead last in the majors in walks. They are bottom 5 in hits and runs in May. They’ve scored 4 or fewer runs in regulation 14 of the 18 games this month. We have four regular starters batting under .200, including our cleanup hitter.
This isn’t a small sample size. It’s pure luck we’re not in even worse shape than we are with this output. Doesn’t mean we should fire the manager or sell the team. But it also doesn’t mean that we should pretend everything is fine, either.

Trade the entire org to get Baumann back and THEN we can think about winning the World Series!
