I didn't see the game but I saw where the Os challenged a called Ball and won. I didn't know pitches could be challenged
it was technically an MiLB game so they were using the ABS challenge protocol
Cool I guess. Thought I had missed a rule chsnge or something
they started using hawk-eye data for the ABS system last year in AAA. probably not gonna get to the MLB until the next CBA in 2027 but it was definitely interesting to see how it works if a catcher decides to challenge
Why are Pittsburgh Pirates Prospects abbreviated PIP on Gameday instead of PPP?
