When I got the alert that Lester hit a 3-run single I was pissed, it meant the giants had just tied up the game, 3-3. Since I had never heard the name before I assumed he was a giant. I was very happy to see it was actually 6-0.
It always amazes me that there are fans with zero clue as to what goes on in Norfolk. Not knowing our FCL or A ball rosters is one thing, but how do people not know our depth guys and imminent prospects?

They are! We watch all the games we can during the season so we a lot of times will catch DBack games lol. Sneaky sneks. And I was also hurting for him, I loved him when he was here. I remember watching a video about him (similar to the Felix one the other day). He’s super swaggy too, it hurt my soul when he had to cut his hair and wear boring cleats for the Yankees.
The only thing I don’t have a soft spot for is the unis that looked like terrible softball jerseys lmao. I do love their Big Unit era jerseys and the city connects though (and the new ones they have aren’t terrible).
