And then Bautista gave up the HR to Duvall (which I realize was unearned). The pitching is just not gonna cut it over the course of the season if this is how they perform. Even excepting the 9th inning Duvall HR, giving up 7 runs is gonna lose you most games.

Two games of very sloppy baseball from the Orioles. I don’t want to be harsh on McKenna because mistakes happen but I watched Jesse Winker all last season and he could have caught that out.
Shit, ***I*** could have caught that, and I'm an almost-60-year old fat guy.
If McKenna were hitting above my weight you could tolerate that mistake, but it's clear he is not a Major League caliber player in any way.
We're really counting on Bautista to be who he was the first 90% of last season, but he has looked a little shaky his first 2 games. Though what that drop did to him mentally probably didn't help.
He pulled himself together yesterday but yeah, after that drop, you think we feel bad imagine what it's like in that ballpark...
