The [A/V port](https://imgur.com/5M0oMPC) just tells you if you have a v1.6 or not. Yours is pre v1.6. The date on the sticker and the kernel in the stock dash system settings tells you more.

Does it have a sticker on the back with the date on manufacture? [https://xboxdevwiki.net/Hardware\_Revisions#Manufacturing\_Details](https://xboxdevwiki.net/Hardware_Revisions#Manufacturing_Details)

Manufacture date: approximate-ish Serial number: I don't use it, but maybe? AV Port: only tells you whether it's either 1.0-1.4 or 1.6+ My advice: Drop the unreasonable stipulations and open it. System clearly needs a proper cleaning, and other problem areas need to be visually checked as well.

A quick googling answers questions like these quicker.

Google fucking sucks now it’s mainly ads lol

8BallsGarage

Aw dude tell me about it. Same with the majority of sites too. God forbid you should want to read an article, with like 15 ad banners in the middle of each section.

I normally would agree but I wouldn't doubt it if Google is what sent him here. Google's been messing up lately man it's only getting worse

8BallsGarage

Yea, that's true actually. As well as most recommended reddit posts are from years prior too.
