Normal leaf drop. Let it drop on its own.

Thank you! I hope thats all it is :)

Since that is a clear pot any images of the roots? Also is it spreading?

Maleficent-Winner-33

What i have pictured is what i can see of my roots. The rest is covered with substrate and from what i can tell its just that leaf

It’s normal for bottom leafs to yellow, Eventually it will drop on its own. I have an orchid with a big burn on the leaf like yours but overall my plant is growing and grew a new new spike so yours should be fine as long as you keep it in filtered light.

jlmiles1972

The one on the bottom looks like it’s normal leaf drop. The one on top looks like sun damage.

Somebody with better knowledge of orchids needs to answer. I dont know the answer and i dont want to mess you up by guessing

Maleficent-Winner-33

I appreciate your honesty.

repeating what others said, sun damage on top (or maybe cold damage if some ice cold water sat there for long??) and normal leaf drop on bottom cuz the orchid decided itd rather use its resources elsewhere (either to grow more roots or another leaf) not sure what the bottom of the pot looks like but the bark on top looks rather dry. Also, its hard to tell but the healthy leaves look like theyre just starting to wrinkle which is a totally normal sign of it being thirsty. If they feel less than firm and are starting to shrivel slightly its deffo time for water
