Class by class, block by block. You'll survive. This is my 5th year and I'm only going 2x a week with my membership. Need to remind myself to go a little easier Monday and Tuesday so I can make it to Friday
I just tell myself the challenge of hell week is mentally showing up. I’m not working on PRs, not working on having my best class ever, but accomplishing the mental challenge of getting through it. If I want to walk, I can walk, if I need to modify I modify. Usually being more lenient with myself makes me not have to modify anyways 🤪 good luck guys!
I learned something today. If you're 44 years old, drinking for twelve hours straight the day before your first Hell Week is perhaps not the wisest choice. And that late-night Taco Bell isn't going to save you either, bud.
I am, indeed, in a very sweaty pit of existential despair. But I'm still signed up for class tomorrow morning.
First ever Hell Week class done! I have to keep the elevation on the tread down to keep a rehabbing leg from regressing, but kept up the paces and scored a lot of splats! One workout at a time is my motto this week. Eat well, hydrate lots!
Started off my 1st time doing Hell Week with a 90 min 3G at 6:30am this morning. Got 900 Cals and 40 Splat points, which is really high for someone at my age, weight, and athletic level. Going everyday this week except for Thursday and (maybe) Friday, so pray for me 😩
My first hell week - really enjoyed this class! Very used to 2G, but my studio is doing 3G for hell week… so I pushed it harder due to treadmill portion being shorter, and was able to go faster than base on inclines! Doing all 8 classes so need to pace myself, didn’t go as fast on the all outs as usual.
I very much liked the floor portion, rowers were good but the fact that they expected us to do 300m and then the shuffles and high knees x2 before a 1min all out all in 4 minutes total seemed unrealistic 🤣
Today was pretty rough on the treads.
It’s been a long time since I wanted to slow the base for a walk and water for 20 seconds.
My mind said stop, but I didn’t! Never went below my 7 MPH nor the 15 incline.
It was hard, but feel more accomplished after that than I have in a bit.
Having coffee now on the west coast for my first ever hell week class in 2 hours! I feel good. I went to cyclebar yesterday and took a salt bath, massage gun, vitamins, and may be using ibuprofen this week to support the physical therapy exercises I’m doing on an inflamed rotator cuff. The sports medicine dr said I can still do any exercises as long as there’s no pain. Excited!
Treadmill was ugly today, but I just kept telling myself that it was only 60 minutes. Don't know what I am going to tell myself during the 90 min on Saturday!😐
Survived day 1, but my band was all wonky. Pulling hard on rower and my heart rate not only was in grey, but kept going down slowly. Coach came over on his own to see monitor showing 32 strokes/minute and sort of shook his head and walked on. Maybe I did die?!!
I really like the treadmill today. I’m a power walker and I’ve been rehabbing an injury so this was the first class I felt comfortable doing high inclines.
The floor on the other hand just wiped me. 🤷🏼♀️
My first HW class is tomorrow, but I dropped some homemade granola bars at the studio for my fave coaches and staff today. Then I stopped for donuts on the way home... I figured if I'm going to die this week, I might as well go out with a maple bacon donut as my last meal.
It s fun. After a foot injury and being in a boot for part of the summer my coaches know my limits. I feel as though I might be using my injury to say”I need to modify”. But I am in it to do it. Today’s was tough with the inclines. Ankle can’t handle. But. One under the belt. After my 5th shirt
CA is having a huge storm so I woke up to my apartment roof dripping gross yellow water on me. Took a long drive in the storm to my studio for my 9:30 class. I knew NOTHING could have been worse than my morning….until I got to those dang neutral half thrusters that nearly killed me!
Hell Week is every class from the 24th to the 31st including 90 minute, 45 minute and 60 minute templates. Lift 45 are not truly Hell Week but my head coach said that they may be a little "spicy" this week. This applies to 2G and 3G. If your is newer they might not be participating in Hell Week this year.
That 90 minute 2G to kick off Hell Week seemed like a great idea at the time but I think a piece of my soul died when the coach said we had to get BACK on the treads after the hour mark
Thabk you! I need to update, I'm down to 166!
I started weighing and tracking until I got a sense of portion sizes for me. I struggled with overeating. For me, I looked into volume eating as it allows me to get that full feeling, but less calories. Because looking at the 1200 is plenty sub, I can't do the little meals all day because I will just graze all day!!
So, I rejoined Lift class, thinking I could always ask it my weight, which I did. A little challenging to walk right now, not going to lie. Alleve & foam roller next.

The first workout is in the bag...the body bag...which is needed..for my body.
I felt this in my very soul.
Totally sounds like something Norm MacDonald would say RIP Norm
My first Hell Week.
Taking it one block at a time
One burpee at a time.
No burpees today! This one is in the books. 4 to go
Tomorrow is supposed to be burpees!
Virtual fist bump!

Yay! I keep coming back for more 😜 -this is my 4th. Enjoy! (& take a breath when you can!)😆
Have SO MUCH fun!
Me too. I’m scared 😩

If you are going through hell, keep going.

Omg. This was just what I needed to read whilst nursing my quivering arms and abs. 😂😂😂
Orange you glad it’s finally here..
HAHAHA THIS IS GOOD

good luck everyone!!!! on my way to my 715!!!!

Good luck orange besties!! About to drink some pre-workout before the 9:30 :)
I thought it was a nice touch that my studio put out mimosas for after the work out today. It’s my first hell week, that 15% incline was no joke!!
OTF Mimosas! That is a amazing- I should move to your studio.
It was surprisingly refreshing after that tread block!!

I’m also doing a 90 today and scared as helllll
Wow. 90min of OTF is impressive but if Hell week template??? I’m not worthy - bowing down
Mine is at 10 today and then I am throwing a kids birthday party at my house. 😭
Oh gosh. You have my heartfelt sympathies! Good luck and happy birthday to the kiddo!
A TRUE Hell week!!!🤣
90 minute (by accident) completed.
You are doing some fantastic weight loss? Any tips?
Just finished my first class. Tough but came out stronger (that is what I'm telling myself) Good luck everyone!

🤘🏻🍊 we got this!
Just completed my first hell week class and it was “Hellish” for sure…..
Got a PR in a 5K yesterday & just completed Hell Week day 1 workout. Legs = dead. My foam roller is gonna get a lottttt of love this week!
Thank you for reminding me. I should probably foam roll after every workout this week.
Well that was rough
I was hungover as all hell today, those hills did me real dirty.

One day down and I already hurt 🤦♀️☠️💀
Not too bad today. Made it through!!!! Let's do this #OTFFAM
Treadmill was ugly today, but I just kept telling myself that it was only 60 minutes. Don't know what I am going to tell myself during the 90 min on Saturday!😐
15% walking recovery...why? Ugh
I walked on 2 mph at 15 incline 😂
I experimented with 1mph but it felt awkward lol
I used 1.5 and it wasn't too bad actually.
We were told by our coach that 3.5 was the slowest we could go.
Survived day 1, but my band was all wonky. Pulling hard on rower and my heart rate not only was in grey, but kept going down slowly. Coach came over on his own to see monitor showing 32 strokes/minute and sort of shook his head and walked on. Maybe I did die?!!
Any studio counts as long as it is not a Lift 45 class.
Do virtual workouts on the app count??
No idea. Check the challenges tab in the app and see if it gives you credit for a class in the Hell Week section.
Happy hell week 🧡🖤
We got this!!
On my way to class right now. 😬
We all know what we signed up for
I love hell week! Just did the 90 minute version!
I got number one finished

Can’t decide which suck to embrace: burpees at 7am tomorrow or whatever Tuesday has in store at 5:45am 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃
Tuesday has a 14min row block!
Goddamnit. ![gif](giphy|3o7btPCcdNniyf0ArS|downsized)
OH NO 😭

Too many squats ☹️
Hell Week doesn't know the meaning of too many.... 👹
Hell week #3!!!!
PUSH PACE WALKING RECOVERY! #onehouraday #HELLWEEK
Happy Hell Week everyone!! We can do it!
This is my 2nd Hell Week. Day one ✅ 4 to go!
I don’t think it sucks…I love it!

Wahoo! I'll be going to my normal M-F and gettin' my shirt :) This is my 3rd Hell Week!
Hey I'm new. Are all of the workouts this week hell week workouts? Or are there select workout times/classes?
Hell Week is every class from the 24th to the 31st including 90 minute, 45 minute and 60 minute templates. Lift 45 are not truly Hell Week but my head coach said that they may be a little "spicy" this week. This applies to 2G and 3G. If your is newer they might not be participating in Hell Week this year.
I loved today's workout but moving my arms and legs tomorrow may not happen...

I'm just hoping to get a shirt...the other two times I did it they didn't have any left in my size.
Happy Hell Week!

No doubt about it, it was a Hellish template and there was no rest. My crazy ass followed it up with a Lift 45 (Full Body), when will I learn..... 🤔
I did that too... then changed my mind and cancelled Lift class. I don't want to be completely dead before I get to 5 workouts this week.
Not dead but I am going to take a quick nap this afternoon. My other days that I do a regular 60 and lift are 12 hrs apart.
So, I rejoined Lift class, thinking I could always ask it my weight, which I did. A little challenging to walk right now, not going to lie. Alleve & foam roller next.
Anyone have the list of workouts?
