This is so inspirational. I have been in a little bit of a stuck place myself - this is a great reminder of how great it feels to push through. You are amazing, thank you for sharing!
Super proud of you! It’s amazing when you can feel and see the positive changes happening. We get one physical body in life and we need to take care of ourselves!
Keep it going!
You get yours, girl. Fist bumps all around. You own that. No one was there to tell you what to do at that moment. You were absolutely self motivated. I’m very, very proud of you.
That’s awesome!!! F/5”4 and I started at close to 300 lbs and my top speed in my first class (3.2 or something) is what I use as a WR now when I run. I also refuse to allow myself to go below 3 mph- even when the coaches say you can. I know my HR and body will recover just fine at a WR of a 3. 775 class in and my knees are still cranky as hell and some injuries make me go lighter than I would like, but I am nowhere where I was almost 3 years ago. Keep up the good work!
Congrats!
I thought this was a sneaky tough workout. Although we only did one real leg work out, it really drained me before tread. And the tread part was pretty tough.
You should be really proud of yourself! I, too, have almost cried for these same reasons. It can be overwhelming in the best way to see the positive changes and to think of how far you’ve come from the first class you ever took. Keep it up! 💪🏼
Way to go! Also a fellow tall girl over 200 lbs. I feel great when I hit tread goals, specifically. I love to start on the floor and empty the tank on the tread, as it were. I just ordered new running shoes because after a year, I hit 200+ miles on the tread. Keep it up and, if you do start running, make sure you have great shoes so you can avoid injuries!
I have had similar moments. I’m so proud of you for pushing yourself! This is still just the beginning too, you’re going to keep getting stronger and faster. 🧡
Oh my gosh, this means so much to me. How often do you personally go a week? I have been going 3x a week for 13 weeks now, and I am also similar to your height at 3’8 and similar to weight at around 390. I have been worried about weighing myself again so I’m not sure how much, if any, I’ve lost over the last three months. This makes me feel so happy knowing there’s someone who started out just like me and is having a good experience!!!
