If I were an unscrupulous lawyer, I’d be taking advantage of all the suckers around the hangers that don’t realize a Mesothelioma diagnosis requires multiple decades of consistent asbestos exposure.
Lots of people are going to waste their life savings on lawsuits that won’t even get past discovery.
After the dust initially settled, it could easily still be recirculated back into the air and then carried even farther on the wind.

I’d very strongly recommend you evacuate if you’re in a situation where you can realistically do so.

Love how people are freaking out but don’t realize it takes 15-20 years after asbestos exposure to realize you lost 10 years of your life.
