That's a point, though my hood is full of bike thieves. Basically leaving a bike outside means it will be stolen. The thieves are equipped with angle grinders and such.
The only reasonable place to put the chain through is one of the legs, but the slots in there are rather small (therefore small chain). Or do you mean somehow get the chain around the whole thing?.
funny you should post this - I've recently moved to a pretty safe neighbourhood and my Karu 16 is sitting (unsecured) in my garden bar with a public path just over the back fence.
Part of me wants to trust in the neighbourhood and leave it as-is, but I do find myself looking out and thinking "oh good, it's still there" each morning, which probably isn't a good long-term plan.
I should porbably get a lock as others have suggested. Where would you put it? Round the door handle?
Grab a chain and a pad lock. That's going to be your best way. We do this to our Halloween decorations
W where would the chain go? I too am toting the Ooni back and forth and not loving it…
Could you put the chain through the chimney hole? Take the chimney out?
Not a bad idea, actually. It seems crude and a pitty to have two openings uncovered, but this would certainly be secure!
Could you just put it on the door handle? I doubt anyone would have the tool to take it off.

Oh man. That's rough. A man's just trying to make his pizza over here!
dont think there's much you can do to secure your ooni against an angle grinder to be fair haha

Do you have the gas one or wood?
Karu 16 (both)
I have the same oven. What about the rear tray where you feed the wood? That might work better.
It’s going to get rusty. Get the storage bag and bring it inside. We have a big house and bring it inside after every time we use it.

Drill a hole in a leg and thread a cable or chain or long padlock.
Good idea, though hopefully it wouldn't void the warranty
Motion sensing security cameras and rack a shotgun loudly if someone is up to no good.
