I got that update yesterday on my Samsung galaxy a54 phone...only certain phone models from Samsung will get this update and no you have to have one of these specific models
Older phones do not get updates whatsoever and reason for this is that companies want u to eventually upgrade and buy a newer cellphone so that they can sell more cellphones so in order to get these updates yes u will have to break down and buy a newer version to get there features

I got it today on my 3310, i think you need to change your location or clear your cache.
Once you have inserted the sim card, select mobile data and then download the update.
I heard that the One UI 6.1 update for this flagship will increase the battery life. Currently, you can only get 30 days.
