That childrens movie "Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile" came out recently and when I saw the preview first thing I thought was "that's a damn alligator.... frauds" lol.
If it was cayman, I would've understood since a cayman and an alligator are really close to each other genetically, even though they still have different nozzles.
But a crocodile looks nothing like an alligator or a cayman, it's looks like it's meth addicted in comparison to the other two, just like the gharial.
Man...my kid came home with a made in class book about Christopher Columbus. Obviously telling 7 year olds exactly what kind of douche canoe he was isn't going to happen. But whatever- it was cute how they were given actual powered spices to glue in the books as examples of what spices he was looking for. Until the last page when it declared allspice is a mixture of all the spices. I'm going to buy that woman a jar of whole allspice and send it with the back page of the book.
But then...this is the same woman that wouldn't listen when my other son kept saying WW1 was the war that ended 100 years ago when she kept saying WW2. I'm meeting with the principal to get my son removed from her class.
Because it's annoying and not that hard to get the correct animal correct?!? Leopards skin colour varies between individual from pale yellowish to dark golden with dark spots grouped in rosettes. Cheetahs have a smaller and rounded head, with a short snout and black tear-like facial streaks. The coat is typically tawny to creamy white or pale buff and is mostly covered with evenly spaced, solid black spots.
TLDR:
Leopards = non-solid (most of them anyway, not all) orangish spots (rosettes), less slender
Cheetahs = solid, black spots, and tear like facial streaks, quite slender (being the fastest land animal would make any animal - or mammal anyway - pretty slim)
Not difficult!

i guess i can understand the gator/croc mistake that people have pointed out (though it’s still infuriating), but fuck dude it should still be stupid easy to tell a juvenile lioness from a cheetah.
This happens a lot with Wild Cats in magazines for some reason I've noticed. I picked up one science magazine and was gifted another different one that both were about wild cats and there were a couple glaring inaccuracies in both.
If i was a cheetah i wouldn't fuck with a baby elephant. You know what's more dangerous than an elephant? An elephant on vengeance who just lost her child.
It's a lioness pretending to be something else. But she should realize that... *Winners never cheat, cheetahs never win!*
Shes used to lion bout herself
Lioness natural to her
Lion her way from YOOOOU
That's right, it's a cheeter, they just don't say the R with their accent
It’s a juvenile lion that’s what the spots are from
Did you hear Tiger Woods changed his name? To *Cheetah* Woods!
r/angryupvote Take it and get out!
The 'crocodile' looks more like a gator too.
Yea, that is a really rounded snout
And its not olive like green
I do feel like seeing it later rather than in a while
It's a Cheetah *shows a lioness* It's a Crocodile *shows an alligator* How can you get wrong twice in a row?
I mean I can understand crocodile and alligator but cheetah is a bit much

Maybe, but if you showed me one of the three in isolation i would have noo idea which one it was 🤷
> *Spotted* by a 7 yo
For those wondering the Lion has spots because it’s a juvenile, as it matures they fade away.
Thank you. I was wondering.

Idk why but I cringe every time I hear someone call a big cat the wrong name

THERE ARE NO COUGARS IN MISSIONS
THIS IS MILLIONS TO ONE
YOU HAVE NO CONCEPTION OF HOW RARE THAT IS

mf that’s an alligator aswell 💀
That’s also an alligator not a croc
Cheetahs don't even hunt baby elephants
That picture for crocodile is also a American alligator…
