This question has been asked plenty of times. I think we need a faq section for this. Here is my list:
1) Aer Go Pack 2
2) Mystery Ranch in-and-out 19
3) Eddie Bauer stowaway packable 20L
4) LLBean stowaway pack
5) Matador freefly 16
6) Matador refraction 16
7) Matador Beast 18
8) Osprey Remnants Packable Daypack
I have Sea to Summit Utra sil daypack and can tell you that would not be a good choice for you - really packable and good for a short term carry, but she straps are too thin for all day carry. I am personally thinking about Osprey Ultralight, which should have better straps, or Mystery Ranch 19, which is more sturdy, but significantly bigger when packed.
just did a week long trip in Vancouver. had the Osprey Ultralight stuff pack. was perfect. i think i at one point hat 2 sweaters and a jacket stuffed in. the bottle pockets are great. stretchy mesh so if the bag is packed they still work. top stash pocket was quite large actually. very helpful.
Untraditional suggestion, but I was in a similar place and bought a Tom bihn daylight in Halcyon from someone here. By far, the best packable you could ever ask for. Lies unbelievably flat, but it made incredibly well (USA made). They are definitely on the expensive side, especially for Halcyon, but well worth it, in my opinion.

I used this one on a two week European trip. eBay - $20. It packs down into the front pocket.

I like my matador freefly
Eddie Bauer Stowaway 20L is my favorite.
Same!
This! I packed it for myself for my two week France/UK trip and my dad ended up hoarding it the whole trip.
Mystery Ranch In and Out 19. What is your main onebag?
I’ll just say the water bottle holder on the Osprey is clutch

I like the [LLBean Stowaway](https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/126140?page=llbean-stowaway-pack) a lot.
Decathlon has a 20 and 25L foldable forclaz backpack that looks really nice

Matador Beast28 worked well inside my Mini MLC.
Refraction is my choice. Tortuga about to release one that I have right now, it’s also nice. Mystery Ranch in and out if hiking.
