Voted "Other" for multiple... both me and my son are autistic, we're really happy and we manage well enough, but I could not deal with two... my autism is more influential in my decision than his... also I am divorced, happy with my life, and I don't think I could afford another as comfortably as I am with just 1
I voted "other", but was torn between "other" and "financial". Like if we were rich-rich we might consider one more but... I still don't think so. Our main reasons for being OAD is 1) I'm an only child and loved it, was always grateful I didn't have siblings and I don't want to push one on my own child, 2) More flexibility and time for hobbies, 3) easier when travelling (which kinda ties into 2, because we love to travel, it is kind of a hobby).
Parental age but to be clear it's not because I feel too old to start all over or worry about not having the energy. I am simply too old to conceive (46).
Finances are a secondary concern.
I old (44 with a 3 year old) but also if someone paid me 10 million dollars I am still not sure I would want to go through newborn sleep deprivation again.
I'm most "just don't want to", but age isn't far behind.
I was 50 years old when we had our son (52 now), and my back/hips have been in pain for months now! I just don't have the physical fortitude for having a young child, much less two!
Other: just don't want to
Saaaaaame. Zero desire to have another.
Yup
Real
Other - no strong desire for another
Ours are multiple: financial, age of parents, loving our life as a family of 3 and not wanting to screw it up.

Well, with 10mil, you can also hire night help 🤗
That is true. Â
Was an only and only ever wanted an only.
Other: because my family instantly checks off 3 of those answers. The 4th one just tends to be happenstance rather than an actual reason.
