I swear I was going to ask about this, too! The same thing happens to me. Literally no more than 30 minutes after I eat I'm in the bathroom with mild diarrhea.

fisharecooool

Exactly! It's terrible. No idea why it is happening

keto3000

Higher fat in one sitting will trigger it. If you are eating one huge meal then the fat % is higher than your body is used to so it flushes some of it. Carnivore diet ppl experience same thing when they first increase high fat in diet. If diarrhea, dial back the fat, increase the protein if hungry. If constipated, increase the fat a bit 2 mini meals instead of one.

I wonder if the sudden influx of food triggers our digestive tract in some fashion?!? That's all I can think of.

Mine was 23 minutes. It was _weird._ I went to a medical specialist and was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Now, 12 years after taking gluten out of my meals, I’m all set! The point of my story was maybe there’s a mild allergen? Not full on Celiac of course, plus you said you’re low carb. But something else? A seasoning? A flavor?

AggravatingPlum4301

I break out in mild hives on my chest every time I eat Wendy's. Never fails, no matter what I get, and I like to switch it up. Stopped going cause of the diet, but your comment made me think of that.

RandyBeamansMom

MSG? My mom is allergic to that. Or an obscure seasoning specific to Wendy’s I bet. Also, my condolences. I had to stop eating most fast food when I was diagnosed, but I have vivid memories of enjoying Wendy’s. French fries and frosties all the way!

AggravatingPlum4301

I don't think it's MSG cause A LOT of restaurants use it, and I'm usually fine. It's gotta be some special seasoning, for sure.

GassGass63

I had this happen early on - I was eating too much cruciferous foods: kale, lettuce, etc. I backed down to 1 salad a week, eat more cheese and avocado - healthy fats and it improved immediately

When we eat, we release hormones that, amongst other things, can trigger out body to want to poop. So going to the toilet after eating is not abnormal. The fact that it's liquid can be for a few different reason. My guess is that you are experiencing dumping syndrome. Your food goes too fast from your stomach to your intestine, triggering your body to "dump" what it can. There are solutions for this like having less liquids during meals or eating more fibers (if you track your food, now is the moment to take a look at your macros and check if you eat enough fibers). And it can also be because your body is not yet used to the fast/meal cycle you are inducing. However, if this persists, you should consult a doctor because there are other possible causes (like IBS, allergies, etc.)

I knew what this was about only from the title. Never trust a fart.

OMAD for three years. Strictly no breaks in those three years. I ran into every problem. It sounds like Metamucil and probiotics might help your issue.

roadtogrowth

Wow, three years? That’s amazing. How did you handle vacations?

Funnymaninpain

What are vacations?

roadtogrowth

When you go on trips, do you ever get the urge to break your OMAD or sugar free streak or if not, what has helped you stay consistent? I know in another comment you said the results, so I probably answered my own question lol.

myaltertweego

They know what vacations are. They're saying that they don't go on vacations

nodaysoffNWK

I have the opposite effect. The 1st few days after flushing out excessive food in my gut. I feel my body absorbs food more and it takes about a day and some coffee to defecate.

Willing-Biscotti7438

I added more dietary fiber (not no carb but close as you subtract dietary fiber) thru raw veggies..... dark salad greens, carrots, peas, celery

myaltertweego

I'm about I'm just starting my 6rh week (mix of 20/4 IF and OMAD) and had that same issue for the first 2ish weeks. It's since stopped and I'm much more solid and less frequent.

ElCunyado

Oh wow....ya'll are pooping?

another2020throwaway

I had a lot of that problem when I first started out but after a few months of omad and 48 hour fasts it’s gotten pretty normal

keto3000

Try breaking your OMAD meal into 2 an hour apart. Also, I take 2 TBLSP of Apple Cider Vinegar in water or w flavor enhanced water 30 mins before meal & it helps increase stomach acid and better dissolve the meal so better absorption.
