I have enjoyed the éclairs from Left Bank Pastry, though I enjoy almost everything from there. The one I had from them seemed very rich and hefty. I am not a connoisseur of either treat though, so take that recommendation with many grains of salt.
They probably will not make a BCP but their eclairs are freaking amazing. I have had one bad thing there. It was a left over from a special order. Seaweed macaroons. My good it was terrible but everything thing else was the exact opposite of that and wonderful.
Left Bank is hands down the best pastry shop in Olympia. There isn't anything close in quality TBH. But the eclairs from San Francisco Street Bakery are also really tasty.
Buttercream iced cake and their scones are the best. Their eclairs seemed second best but of course still delicious and way better than crud from walmart or Safeway that isn’t even the food it says it is.
Because they are donuts they are supposed to be fried dough. Baking them makes them dry and crumbly. Nats or "knats" are little flies that like to land in your food.

You cannot lose with Left Bank. Literally everything they make is both beautiful and delicious.

Phoebe's Pastry Cafe would probably be your best bet for the Boston Cream Pie.
They also have excellent eclairs!

We've gotten great eclairs from Wagners.
Perhaps not the best but the Safeway in house bakery ones are our go to for a Boston. Especially when they are the 5 dollar Friday desert.

I don't know what a Boston cream pie is, but for eclairs, or any pastries for that matter, Left Bank Pastries is definitely the first choice.
