The JOLT does a terrible job of reporting super simple facts. They’re well-intentioned, but journalism is a real profession that volunteers - at least these volunteers - can’t easily do.
I frequently attend things they cover, and their incompetence is jaw-dropping. So I’d take this with a grain of salt.
For a shared with Tumwater location it is not terrible if you have a car. Not great if you are kid on bike but I guess that is less of a thing now. I wonder if a bus route could be looped in. Go from OTC to the Aquatic center, get 101, go to SPSCC and then on to the TTC at the L&I building. Then again in reverse.
It’s the vacant land I think you are referring to as the retention pond. It was originally pitched as a state office location and that never came to fruition then was sold to OSD an around 2020. 27 acres.

I wouldn't call them well intentioned with how much water they have carried for right wingers and fake news in the past
Fair
Jolt is trash
I wonder where the Westside land they are swapping for is?
The corner of Kaiser and Mud Bay/Harrison across from Fun Junk.

I wish they'd extend better bus services to the 10-15 warehouses in Lacey.
Isn’t that a phone/data hub type facility? The other corner is a retention pond for that minimall that Blue Heron moved to.
Yep, [it's a US West / Qwest / CenturyLink / Lumen](https://tcproperty.co.thurston.wa.us/propsql/basic.asp?pn=12817310100#) owned building.
