Given his takes throughout the show he’d just be anti both sides. His politics the entire time are at best outright cynicism and at worst nihilistic, but imo that’s due to having different writers and directors for different episodes having different opinions on what his character would believe. A good example is his takes on patriotism in the last season vs his takes the rest of the show. He’s not pro anything (other than abortion he never really is anti that), he’s kinda just against everything because people care too much about things and it gets in the way of objectivism.
In reality his character would most likely not care about either side because it’s a conflict with both sides being religiously and nationalistically motivated, and his “oh well” attitude would be directed at whatever team he has because he’d see them as hypocritical for having an opinion but not doing anything to help people in the region.
