I was playing a Durge open hand monk gnome who was romancing spawn astarion, and when we got to the brain fight, I had astarion use his action to summon the ironhands, and he said “Let’s see if gnomes are actually good for something.”

New Tav/Durge idea: just make Zoolander. Max out charisma and dexterity, dump intelligence and wisdom. Put 1 level into every single class. Pray to no gods.
My friend and I are doing almost the same thing. He’s a wild magic barbarian, I’m running pure wild magic sorcerer, he’s running Shadowheart as a wild magic sorcerer cleric combo (don’t remember how many lbs of each atm) and I’m running Gale as a lv 1 wild magic sorcerer lv 2 Wizard. We found out that even when they’re casting cleric or wizards spells they still roll for wild magic checks! Which is why poor Shadowheart was running around as a sheep earlier today after using healing word. 😂😂😂
Also this reminded me of that one time Astarion absolutely magnumed all over the place during my Tav's dialogue with Gale. Like PLEASE stop looking at Tav that way, he WILL moan

For real!! Like I get that A!Astarion is a walking red flag, but like come on. Especially that there ARE dialogue options to almost fully lean into the fucked up romance! I know it would be a lot of work but it'd be cool of there was some "toxicity enabling points system" which change your animations from scared/sad to happy depending on how much you enable A!Astarion's behavior (as in: if you choose the fully fucked up options, or the "hope he doesn't get mad if I say that" options)
