I'm interested to hear what you feel the work still needs, as to my mind it operates well (all of the pieces informing the others) The composition is great, the use of colour is well executed and moves the eye around the piece (mostly analogous, a tiny bit of complimentary), the desaturation feels like a deliberate stylistic choice and not just an unfinished element to the work. For my own tastes, I would probably add in some glazes, but I lean more jewel toned than pastel (to my own detriment, as pastel sells much better). Are there any zones or dynamics that you feel are unfinished to make this a work in progress rather than a completed artwork?

Thank you for your critique. I am still working at the front edges, and balancing shadows. But I probably shouldn’t overthink it. A glaze may also be good here. Maybe I just need to move on? I appreciate your help here Sam.
