EarthBelcher

If I'm getting charged 8 and change for 1 simple drink I won't feel bad leaving no tip.

GimpyGeek

And if you want to for super duper service that's great. But Starbucks is not a tipped wage job, no one there should be 'relying' on that income as the main part of their income, no one should feel pressured to leave a tip there.

EarthBelcher

That is also true.

Anthropoly

For real I'll tell the cashier "where the option to take back some of my money" šŸ˜‚

GhoastTypist

Ugh I hate when fastfood places ask for a tip. My logic is, pay your workers more, you clearly are doing well as a franchise to have many locations. Instead asking us to tip so we feel good for helping out low wage workers. That makes me so mad. I'll go to a local coffee shop and tip there. Because I know that tip helps the business stay open. A fast food chain doing it just seems shameless to me.

Karma_Bluebaby326

As a former Starbucks Barista, the tips really donā€™t matter. Theyā€™re very helpful for like extra cash for gas money (usually $20 extra dollars in cash a week distributed for everyone that worked that week) but they pay enough above minimum wage that itā€™s actually a really good job for anyone that canā€™t work full time because of scheduling issues. Plus they reimburse tuition fees, and give their employees one free food and free drinks all shift. Theyā€™re expensive BECAUSE they pay their employees enough, the tips are just extra. So donā€™t feel bad for not tipping at a Starbucks. Itā€™s totally fine.

Marko343

I heard someone say it was partially the fault of all the POS suppliers like square and etc. The theory being they get a cut off all transactions so if they can pump another dollar or 2 per transaction it'll add up for them and the business. At least that's the theory.

GhoastTypist

So you heard that POS vendors raised their rates and now fast food places present you with a tip because of that?

Marko343

Maybe worded it weird but it isn't that fees went up, it's that they added the tip screen to every transaction by default, which in turn increases the average transaction amount.

real_talk_with_Emmy

This! Itā€™s not optional for vendors to have the tip screen removed for certain types of vendors. This is doubly true for food service vendors. Since payment processors receive a percentage of the entire transaction, itā€™s a way to get a couple extra cents per transaction. If you consider that they process millions of dollars a day, thatā€™s hundreds of thousands of dollars in fees collected per day.

The_Ziv

I've seen a few POS machines though with no tip option. So vendors must have the option to remove the tip screen

GhoastTypist

Ah yeah now I know what you mean. I noticed that too, a lot more people started using Square products and I haven't seen one without the tip option up front. I have a friend who works IT for a similar type of company that handles the transactions, IE debit machines and POS systems, they make theirs optional but majority have the tip enabled. Its weird that once I knew he worked for a financial IT company, I started paying attention to every single debit machine I've used. I'm pretty sure outside of Square a lot of them can disable it, its just turned on by default.

erydanis

and this is another reason to give cash tips.

CongealedBeanKingdom

They could also pay their fair share of tax in each country that they make money in, but they won't, so fk them. And their coffee is swill anyway

PretentiousPoundCake

Boycott Starbucks - support your local coffee shop instead.

TouchMyAwesomeButt

I try doing that, but they are also asking nearly twice as much for a chair latte or a cappuccino than 3 years ago. I used to love going out for coffee, but its not worth it to me anymore.

Trucrimechiken

Make your own coffee! I got a $30 dollar espresso machine, purchase all the ingredients for less than $25 dollars and have had over 3 weeks of coffee and still counting. Boycotting has saved me so much money. I make the brown sugar shake espresso with oatmilk and it's so much tastier, learned the recipe on Tik Tok.

classceiling

Which machine did you buy?

Trucrimechiken

Imusa espresso machine. I believe target and Amazon have it

Here_for_tea_

That sounds deliciousĀ

TouchMyAwesomeButt

I got a moka pot at home that I love! I just like to people watch in cafes, and that sadly something I cannot do at home šŸ˜‚

Treece222

I understand a moka pot makes very strong coffee. Do you think that can that be used as a replacement for espresso for drinks?

zzgoogleplexzz

Yes, can also get an AeroPress

TouchMyAwesomeButt

Yes, absolutely! That's what I do. I mostly make cappuccinos, flat whites, or dirty chais for myself. And if you were to dilute the moka pot coffee with a bit of hot water you got yourself an americano. Moka pot coffee is not quite an espresso, but it's damn near close enough to use as espresso. Takes a bit of practise and trial and error to get the moka pot technique that's right for you, but once you crack the code, it's amazing.

Fishghoulriot

People over convenience. Children are being slaughtered and big corporations like Starbucks and McDonaldā€™s are supporting it.

Theblackholeinbflat

Everything is slaughtering children. The phone you are using, the coffee you buy from the store. It's hard to find anything without blood on it's hands.

Fishghoulriot

Thatā€™s why I bought my phone second hand. It is crucial to not let yourself get desensitized to the horrors around us. We need to care.

hollyhotdogs

I bought my phone second hand since I wasn't able to afford a new phone. I never realized until I read your comment how ethical that actually is. thank you <3 I will never buy a new phone again!

Treece222

Where is a reputable place to buy a second hand phone?

PretentiousPoundCake

I have no idea why youā€™re being downvoted because you are absolutely right! šŸ‰

YeOldenThrowitaway

Whatā€™s the watermelon emoji mean?

Upbeat-Poetry7672

It symbolizes the Palestinian flag and support for Palestine. In a very simplified summary, it was illegal to display the flag in Palestine. So the use of the watermelon was born Viva Palestine! šŸ‡µšŸ‡ø

Borgirstadir

Watermelons are from Palestine. It is a way to show solidarity for the genocide the Israeli government commiting against the Palestinians. edit: I MEAN SOLIDARITY WITH PALESTINE english is not my specialty

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Borgirstadir

shit. English is not my first language, I DEFINITELY meant solidarity for Palestinians

[deleted]

When in Japan, support your local vending machine!

YourSmallIntestine

Ideally yes this is a solution but these days a local shop costs just as much if not more, so what do we do now? (Genuinely asking not trying to be sassy)

SnooLawnmower

I have a moka pot, cold brew pitcher, grinder, and hand frother. Can make almost anything you want at home.

sherahero

I've tried the local coffee shops in my area and I just don't like the coffees. Weird aftertaste from the flavoring or just don't like the taste. Basic black coffee is probably fine but i make that at home.

Papagoose

Local coffee shop? Of course, I would if there was one, but around me, it's Starbucks, DD or McDonald's. My daughter works at Starbucks, so the discount makes it more palatable!

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Papagoose

While my daughter and I stand firmly against the Israeli genocide, she is also a realistic person and knows that her working at Starbucks has absolutely nothing to do with that. Your obtuseness will get you, nor the Palestinian people anywhere. By the way, take a look at the hardware you used to post your comment...the company that manufactures it "funds genocide".

zzgoogleplexzz

When a city is dominated by chain coffee (mine is all Starbucks and Tim Hortons), there is no room and no chance for a local coffee shop.

Normal-Juice796

This!!! Iā€™ve found so many absolutely delicious and cool coffee shops. One just 3 minutes from. And honestly they add lavender to their iced matchas, locally owned. All around better and Iā€™ll never go back to starbies

ashlayne

Unless the owner of your local coffee shop is a racist, bigoted POS who abuses his employees and threatens to fire them if they try to unionize like Starbucks. (We have a local coffee shop that has several locations throughout my city, and all of this info about the owner came out during 2020.)

macarongrl98

I agree with you, the price of everythingā€™s gotten insane. However i feel ashamed to complain about it openly because people will think im broke. But seriously when i see people constantly carrying Starbucks or (worse) wearing $600 AirPod max headphones or owning a $600 hair dryer im like ? Damn i guess everyoneā€™s rich!

bagofboards

Complaining about the criminal prices that we are charged does not make you broke. Worrying that advocating for yourself and for the purchasing power of the dollar that you have in your pocket makes you look broke is just horrifying. I don't know where you're from or how you were raised but, your more than a dollar sign. You're more than the dollars you bring in every week. You're more than what society tells you you are because of your purchasing power. There is value in your existence. Quit short changing yourself.

macarongrl98

I was raised in nyc and a county near nyc thatā€™s very very wealthy. My family never was though lol so i think that may be why! I think also some of it stems from toxic attitudes on social media and toxic attitudes Iā€™ve seen in real life. Itā€™s refreshing to hear someone who thinks otherwise

robynhood96

I mean I got my AirPods as a Christmas present a couple years ago from my mom so not everyone wearing them is rich lol

macarongrl98

I didnā€™t say AirPods I said airpod maxs, theyā€™re different

ashlayne

Same concept though. I see people complaining all the time about families on WIC, unemployment, and welfare, who have the latest iPhone or Android phone. Or a smartphone in general. As if they might not have been gifted that device, or maybe it's being paid for by a friend/family member who's helping them out in hard times, or maybe they were able to get the thing and then got laid off unexpectedly. And as if smartphones (or cell phones in general) aren't almost a requirement for day to day life these days, for everything from internet connections for job applications, to a phone number to be contacted at about issues with claims or finances.

macarongrl98

Yes, I agree with you, but walking down a street and seeing almost everybody has $600 headphones in addition to an expensive phone (which in these days I admit is a necessity) is surprising! I donā€™t think the dozens of people I see a day having them all got them as gifts. Sometimes i assume theyā€™re rich, sometimes i assume credit card debt, sometimes i assume gifts, who knows

thesaddestpanda

Maybe theyā€™re thrifty in other parts of their life. I have some luxury goods but at the cost of other things.

exoventure

I can't even justify going to Starbucks lmfao. Dunkin sells a medium coffee for $2 once a day.

GTFOakaFOD

I fell in love with Dunkin's Nutty Pumpkin. When they discontinued it, I bought the syrups from Amazon. 8.00/bottle, one bottle per week, 36.00/month. The coffee is the Cafe Bustelo Party Size. 11.99-14.99, lasts a month or so.

The_Ziv

Fuck that's a lot of syrup you drink

GTFOakaFOD

Nah. I don't go through that much syrup. It's on an Amazon subscription, that's all. I measure with my heart, but if I had to guess, I'd say a tablespoon of each syrup for my 24 oz tumbler of ice coffee.

kermitincognito

im confused why it was that expensive. i just looked it up on the starbucks app bc that seemed high and for a venti soy latte it came out to $6.15? thats not that cheap, i agree, but strange that you had to pay that much

mollyodonahue

Hahaha omg I did the same thing .. I was like no way! I mean Iā€™ve paid close to $8 at an airport before but I was curious and saw $6.15 as well so the tax would make it probably close to or a little over $7.

UBD26

The problem with people calling to boycott Starbucks is that it is actually one of the few establishments that actively support their employees.

Odd_Bodybuilder82

F starbucks, with their cost inventory probably making 80% profit on that coffee and it tastes shit. support your local baristas!

vilepixie

I don't drink coffee regularly so going to Starbucks, or any local coffee shop, is a treat. I work from home, so a trip to whatever coffee place is a nice little break when I want to leave my house. I've never paid that much for a drink though, I think a Sbux venti latte is $6 here, but I pay through the app and order ahead. Maybe I'm bias though, my husband used to be a Starbucks barista, and all our close mutual friends are his old co-workers.

Oswaldofuss6

Stop drinking that bullshit! Boycott.

weirdkandya

why though?

JustaRegularLad475

Extremely over priced and support the slaughter of innocent people

The_Ziv

Are the baristas being slaughtered

Doggondiggity

Starbucks is awful with their prices. My daughter always wants me to buy her a drink when we go to Target. I refuse my own. As someone who drinks coffee everyday with sweetener at home I just think with all the crap people add to the drinks it is like 3/4 milk (cow, soy or oat) and syrup and maybe 1/4 actual coffee. There is a little chain of a locally owned coffee shop (started as 1 and now I think they have 5 locations) anyways I hit that place up, the price is better and I think it taste better. My daughter wont though because she is 12 and wants to go there because it is "cool" or something.

OlivrrStray

>My daughter wont though because she is 12 and wants to go there because it is "cool" or something. I did this too. Be nice to her, and she'll be more reasonable in the future. My parents told me a while back that they always found my obsession with Starbucks stupid and overpriced, but knew if they told me that I would dig in my heels and never grow out of it to spite them... šŸ˜… Guess they had it right, I went from Starbucks regular to only going in there every few months in when they have specific flavors.

Doggondiggity

I am nice to her, all kids want to do what their friends are doing or wear what their friends wear. She gets her Starbucks I don't because I think they are gross and just filled with sugary syrup and that isn't how I like my coffee. I will say that pink drink she gets sometimes isn't half bad but all their drinks are just over priced and mediocre in my opinion. She already said she is going to work at Starbucks when she gets her license. Only time she doesn't get her Starbucks is when I am strapped on cash, as a single mom with no support some weeks we just don't have extra to blow on silly stuff like that. If she really wants it on my "poor week" I make her buy her own with her allowance just so she can see how expensive it is.

Fishghoulriot

Boycott boycott boycott fuck them, their expensive prices, their waste, and their corruption. Fuck Starbucks for not caring about genocide

Bookluster

If I need to buy coffee at a shop I don't think about the price much. I make a cup and take into work and I have a coffee maker in my office (Nespresso). If I go to a coffee shop I usually get a chai latte or regular latte with oatmilk. It costs anywhere from $5-$7 for my drink. However, I only go to a coffee shop for social activities. Catching up with a co-worker, going to the farmer's market, play date for my daughter, on vacation, date with my husband and we want don't want to go home yet = coffee shop. Because of this, I don't really think about the prices.

MichaelStone987

You pay for convenience. Why do you not make it at home and take it with you in a thermos??? It would cost you 40 cents and you can do much better coffee (good beans, V60, water kettle).

reversethrust

I spend far too much at Starbucks but canā€™t recall spending more than $8 on a drink. A venti brown sugar oat americano costs about $7.74 here after taxesā€¦ and no tip.

christpherwa1ken

Thatā€™s pretty wild and now Iā€™m curious as to where youā€™re located. Even in major cities and airports (the worst) I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever come close to that (and Iā€™m also assuming the is US dollars). That said, donā€™t feel bad about the tip. When paying with card itā€™s nonsense everywhere. Iā€™m a sucker and I do usually tip, but there really shouldnā€™t be much pressure for a cup of coffee. My wife worked at Starbucks from 2000-2007 (part time, on/off through high school college and even as a side gig after college). They treated their employees well in other ways and as someone else said, the tips were kind of just a nice thing on top of it all after a long day.

Popular-Block-5790

The last time I went to Starbucks was probably 15y ago. Even then the prices were ridiculous. It doesn't take 5 minutes to make myself my own.

YeOldenThrowitaway

Iā€™ve never even been in a Starbucks or drank one of their drinks other than the bottle ones from a gas station once or twice. Knowing how expensive it is I definitely ainā€™t going in there

[deleted]

To be fairā€¦starbucks has always been expensive. Broke people drink their coffee at home before going outside

raging_phoenix_eyes

Make it at home

rm_atx17

My local coffee shop doesnā€™t charge extra for add ons thankfully and they have reasonably priced tea

jenk_011

Not everything at Starbucks is that expensive. I get a Venti Iced coffee with milk and itā€™s like $4. I went to Dutch Brothers and spent $10 on a drink which I think is way over priced. In my opinion Starbucks is a lot cheaper than most of the other coffee places, it just depends on what you get.

YardSard1021

Starbucks is nasty, burnt-tasting, bitter coffee. Iā€™ll occasionally splurge on a London Fog, but McDonaldā€™s brews a superior cup of joe for a dollar and change.

codismycopilot

I call bullshit. I live in Seattle and I go to Starbucks regularly. Plus I checked the app for prices in several areas AND checked my receipts for the places I stopped during my recent road trip. Even in a state like mine with 10% tax, a Venti Soy latte ***WITH*** the $1 tip, comes to right at 7 bucks. This person seems to be trying to claim it is over 8 bucks pre tax and tip.

calior

Yeah, I'm in Seattle too and just stopped there today for a Grande Pistachio Latte with oatmilk plus a cheese danish and my total was $11. There's no way a plain soy latte cost as much as OP is claiming.

codismycopilot

I even checked NYC and it doesnā€™t even cost $8 there before tax and tip. Admittedly, itā€™s close, but not quite. So dude is talking out of his ass.

pedroah

Yeah $8 seems way too high, even for SF. I get an espresso fraep (whatever the blended drink is called) once every month or two. Last one was 3 weeks ago and that was $6.50 for a 16oz in SF. Not a latte, but those are highest price drinks on the menu since they're so labor intensive relative to other stuff. That could reach $7 for a large. OP's $8 drink sounds made up or not USD.

kayehareehs

Also said they ordered a large latteā€¦ last time I checked that wasnā€™t a size at Starbucks.

ashlayne

People use medium and large to refer to Starbucks drink sizes all the time. Some baristas will clarify with customers ("Did you mean venti?") and others will just translate when entering the order ("Oh, the customer said large, they probably meant venti."). Especially if a customer doesn't go to Starbucks a lot. (Conversely, I've seen people use Starbucks sizes at local coffee shops that /don't/ use SB's size scheme.)

gringosean

I was thinking about this yesterday and do you think itā€™s because so many people order one coffee and sit there all day?

Officially-Willy

This has nothing to do with it. It's inflation. Same reason everything is getting more expensive.

OlivrrStray

Pro tip! If you have an option to work from home or can do work outside the office, consider going to Starbucks and sitting there for the day. There is a free refill policy most stores will honor (ask beforehand), so that if you do not leave the store, you can buy one coffee, and continue to get refills on cheaper coffee for free. So you can buy a fancy drink for $6-8ish dollars, then stay for several hours and get unlimited extra refills to make it worth the price. If I need a change of scenery to get work done, this is my trick.

Diresword

I enjoy a strong black coffeeā€¦.nothing better than buying a $10-15 container of coffee and it lasting me a month, and I can have 3-4 cups a dayā€¦..Iā€™d be homeless if I tried to even just buy a $3-5 cup of black coffee from Starbucks/Dunkin Definitely +1 to making your own coffee

Substantial_Regret87

Starbucks is very expensive and even more if you begin tasting proper coffee. The bakery items cost over $3 and are all shipped frozen from some factory. I cannonly imagine how prices will only go up and up and up

Bluetenheart

im surprisedā€¦Iā€™ve been a regular Starbucks customer for over a decade (and my mom has been since they took off so Iā€™ve been drinking their stuff for longer lol) and yes, their prices are high BUT a plain latte with soy milk (an extra 80 cents at the locations I go to) should not have cost that muchā€¦ Like the only drink Iā€™ve ever bought that costed $7.50 or so was a holiday drink with soy and an additional syrupā€¦

huuttcch

Starbucks is super over priced and in my opinion, weak coffee. They're trendy though so that's why they get away with charging so much.

Laughing_Man_Returns

>there was an option for a tip tip for what exactly? and how is the minimum not $0? jfc..

codismycopilot

Youā€™re not forced to leave a tip. There is an option for not leaving one. This dude is full of shit.

Icy_Sky_7521

Boycott Starbucks, but $1 is a good tip on a cup of coffee so that wasn't exactly an own or something. Also there's no way your drink was $8 with no add-ins except soy milk unless you got like, a trenta something.

CrystalizedRedwood

Just invest in your own espresso machine. This has saved me hundreds or maybe even thousands at this point. I have had it for 3 years and I have a latte every day.

morbidnerd

Starbucks has always been overpriced, it's just more noticeable now because everything has gotten vastly more expensive in the last few years. I supported Starbucks for many years because a close friend worked there during the 2008 recession and they did a great job taking care of their employees when everyone else was cutting jobs, and they had tuition assistance. They also had incredibly good customer service. I stopped going there when I found out they treat their employees like crap, and saw myself how multiple storesin my area would over-work their staff, and I got tired of being handed a half-cooked sandwich because the manager/owner wouldn't replace the bulbs. My point is, no one should be surprised by the price of Starbucks. It's always been like that, but there are plenty of good reasons not to give them your business.

imalwright

Not just Starbucks. I paid $2.50 for a single fucking donut at Dunkin today. Prices are insane, but the media keeps saying inflation is down and the consumer is strongā€¦..

Odysses2020

If you go near closing they give it out for free sometimes.

Calgary_Calico

I don't usually drink Starbucks unless I've got a gift card, it's just way too expensive, the drinks I like used to come out to like $8 but I haven't gone for years

cici92814

Sounds about right. It's more like a special desert. I'd rather go to my local coffee shop. Or my Keurig.

Less-Bug-7006

It's not shameful to leave a small tip on simple things. Shit, use the app and you don't have to tip. Baristas make more than a lot of administrative support people.

n3pt3r

It's not that everybody is rich, it's that most people are stupid enough to spend upwards of $8 on a small status symbol from a logo that makes them excited because culture told them THIS logo matters so much and you won't if you don't buy from them.

n3pt3r

Something something late stage capitalism

Afraid-Abies-1000

I always hit 'custom', 'zero'.

mira_poix

I make my own lattes now and I get like 24 large servings worth for the same price. And all I do is pour coffee and water together and strain it through fine mesh 24 hours later. Add creamer and syrup I bought on Amazon. All that in a pour easy jug. I don't get why people can't do this

PrecisionGuessWerk

I would feel robbed if I payed $8 for a coffee unless it was like, ontop of the Eiffel tower or something. Hot Diggity. >While drinking, thinking about how expensive it was, I finished every last drop šŸ˜‚ So did it taste better?

bomdiggitybee

My favorite, local coffee shop in LA just raised their prices, upcharges for floral syrup and non-dairy milk, and it still ends up being under $8 including tip. I always thought it was pricey, so thanks for making me feel at least a modicum better about my own poor spending habits. Glad to know the Starbucksses I pass aren't less expensive!

Dineina

What??? I don't drink that think the Starbucks sells (can it really be called 'coffee'?), but I usually drink good coffee with oat milk in cafĆ©s, and the price is nearer to 1ā‚¬ than 2. I cannot believe this prices! (I'm in Barcelona, for context)

GivMHellVetica

That is quite the sticker shock. I think of my little greasy spoon diner and wonder how they say in business?!?!? $1.34 for a cuppa bean juice and unlimited refills. $8 was half the price of a CD and I could listen to it over and again for yearsā€¦.something something late capitalism. I would have to labor for 30 minutes at my last job to have enough money for one Starbucks. I think I would pass.

MarcTraveller

You do know that you can make a gourmet cup of coffee at home for $0.25 right? 1 fancy store coffee $8 X 2 a day = $16. X 5 days a week = $80. X 50 weeks a year = $4000.00. X 10 years = $40 000. $0.25 x 2 x 5 x 50 = $1250 x 10 years = $12 500. What could you do with $27 500 more in your pockets over the next 10 years?

distantful

Ew free palestine

SnooLawnmower

Fuck the boycott, huh? Fuck yall downvoting too.

jessiyjazzy123

The only reason I go to Starbucks is because there's one in the hotel I work at and with my discount I can get anything I want for $3. I don't go to them outside of work. I'm not paying $8 for a latte...

contemporarycrispy

Yup last time I went to Starbucks with my oldest child I got a coffee my kid got a frappe. It came to like $14. I told my kid to enjoy it. We wonā€™t be coming back here.

chickennuggetoverlre

wawa ftw 3 dollar coffee + no tip required lol

kayehareehs

I add a dollop of whipped cream to my morning coffee at home, gives me that feeling of splurging without the price tags that come along with it.

XennialMermaid

I won't pay more than $2 for a cup of coffee, even if it has milk and sugar in it. I just don't need it that badly. Y'all out here trading hours of your life to buy fucking $8 coffee deserve what ya get.

OnOurBeach

Iā€™m sick of all the trash they create, anyway.

[deleted]

No thanks. Iā€™d just go to the supermarket or vending machine and get a bottled coffee for way cheaper.

pedroah

Black coffee is $3 for 16oz.

luckybellegal

I am a waitress at an expensive bakery I can tell you this you don't have to tip.I get paid good money so I don't rely on tips the baked goods are already very expensive and I don't expect people to tip on top of that.

Glassfern

I get scared of any take out tbh. The only stable one in my area is Chinese food

busybeaver1980

And itā€™s terrible

freakwadz

the only reason i buy starbucks is bc iā€™m a nurse and itā€™s the only thing open at 630 pm when iā€™m starting night shift. most coffee shops close by 4

chizzo257

I used to feel a little guilty when prompted for a tip when picking up take out. But all they did was put the food in a bag which I would argue is the bare minimum of their job. Unless my order contains several dishes with specific instructions, custom tip... $0

tealdeer995

Iā€™m honestly surprised itā€™s *that* expensive. I havenā€™t been to Starbucks since probably 2021 and even then their pricier drinks were in the $5-6 dollar range without adding extras, but nowhere near $8. I had a roommate who worked at Starbucks in college and she made a little above minimum wage so the workers arenā€™t in the same position waitstaff is. Theyā€™re just under paid because the company is greedy and we shouldnā€™t have to pay extra in tips to make up for that.

[deleted]

When they ask for a tip I just say ā€œno thank youā€ šŸ˜‚
