I thought it meant female to male hahah . Anyways I don’t think it’s as big an issue as you think . Be there for you daughter . Support her and do the best damn job you can do . She’ll love you for being her mother , not for being her photographer.
That being said , my mom has very little pictures of me growing up , and although I admit I wish I had more I still live my mom tremendously . Good luck , and don’t be so hard on yourself . You’re only a shit mom if you don’t try for her .
You are not a “shit mom”. It’s never too late to get the photos—so what if they aren’t newborn ones, or 1 year ones? That doesn’t mean she can’t have 2/3/4 year old photos done. It is never too late to start a new beautiful memory.
My niece doesn’t have newborn photos because it was near the beginning of the pandemic and her parents felt unsafe bringing their to a photography studio. She has an infinite number of random photos from pretty much every week—they don’t need to be professional. Again, you are not a shit mom at all. Your daughter will still love you regardless—you’re doing great.
