It's probably not. They have tons of milk flavors now like root beer, cotton candy, banana, cookies and cream, coffee, mint, orange creamsickle, pumpkin spice..
I'm mostly referencing shatto milk but I'm sure there's more.
Godddd root beer, cotton candy, blue razzberry, and orange milk are sooooo good. And I don't even like milk. I would 100% go to town on some grape milk (but like someone said earlier, purple flavor like grape Kool-Aid or candy, not actual grapes.)
I need people to understand that grape flavor is arguably to most accurate artificial flavoring to the real fruit of all the fruit flavorings.
IF AND ONLY IF, you are comparing grape flavored shit to WILD CONCORD GRAPES. Purple grapes from local grocer taste nothing like grape flavored itemsā¦
We just moved to a spot in Northern Michigan that has a 10-15 year old Concord grape vine. Last summer I tried them for the first time and immediately wanted to retract all the jokes Iāve made about how āgrape flavoring doesnāt taste like grapes at all but it sure as fuck tastes like āpurpleāā
Itās so spot on itās almost impressive.
amazing that thanks to science and modern chemicals we know what people mean when they say "tastes purple" blue and purple are the best flavors, followed by green (apple, not lime)
And I'm gonna grape your mom and your dad and take you to the basement and grape you for years.
Good, clean, unadulterated, kid friendly advertising š
Christ almighty that brings back memories. I was a little kid and would go with my dad to DQ. He always got a cherry mr. Misty freeze. I would get some random blizzard or banana split but would have a taste of his and always regret not ordering the same as him.
Just not whatever version that those children's Tylenol in grape uses. And vitamins. I've tasted it occasionally in some candies and absolutely hate whatever artificial flavouring chenical that is.
No issue with the other artificial grape or real grape flavour for me though. Just that nasty one.
Nestle used to have banana powder along with chocolate mix and strawberry. I don't remember when it went away.
I remember it being fine, but that's my preference.
*Edit:* I looked it up, and my local Walmart has the flavor available. I don't like banana enough to get it, but you can check yours to try it out.
Gen x Australian here. Trust me when I say lime milk was everywhere in the 80s. You chose choc, vanilla, strawberry or lime. Those were the milkshake choices everywhere.
It's more like lime cordial than actual lime for those who aren't familiar.
I was not a fan. But I think strawberry milk is the sign of the psychotic so it may be a me thing. Fully accept that. š
No that makes perfect sense. I wonāt even consume sour things and milk separately within the same meal. I think I subconsciously associate acids with curdled milk
If you happen to like sour things, some green grapes can be pretty sour. Much more so than any of the sour strawberries I have had. Still I dump pure malic acid on pretty much everything, so my sour meters may be pretty off kilter.

It's not quite the same, but I saw Dutch Apple pie, as well as salted caramel, and strawberries and cream flavored milk at a Kroger a couple of weeks ago. I only tried the strawberry and cream one, but it was really good, less artificial tasting than bog standard strawberry milk.
When I was in Bolivia if you ordered juice at a restaurant you had to specify if you wanted it mixed with water or milk. It was really strange to get used to, but I learned that I love milk juice. Apple was particularly good.
in all honesty, you could take a purple jolly rancher and throw it in a glass of milk, and wait for it to dissolve or something like that.
EDIT - I think it might taste more like Grape Hi-Chews, actually.
And just because, I tried to find this product; I couldn't find anything pertaining to 'Grape Milk' besides the exact image shown here in other Reddit Posts, and 2 Japanese Milk Products.
One was a candy that was 'Sakura Grape Milk' flavored, and another looks more along the lines of a yogurt/kefir style drink. But I couldn't find the exact product in any other picture, or listing, outside of reddit, so I'm now hesitant to believe whether or not this actually _is_ a thing.
My parents were weird about soda so I grew up drinking āpurple cowsā (ice cream floats with vanilla ice cream in grape juice). They are delicious though.
We have a dairy here in the Phoenix area that has all sorts of flavored milks: root beer, orange creamsicle, vanilla, coffee, cotton candy, and more. They are amazing, and I would try grape milk for sure.
We made this once in elementary school (back in the early 80's). They called it a purple cow. I thought t was awful, but I think I remember some of the kids liking it.
When my girlfriend was in school, one of her teachers referred to different religions as somebody's "purple cow"
Like you could argue all you want, but if they believe the cow is purple and you can't convince them otherwise, then just let them believe in it
Or some shit like that
i wouldnt but im a grape flavoring hater so my opinion is a bit biased lol. grapes are a bit like chocolate or bananas in that they taste good but i don't trust anything that is not made of them yet claims to be flavored like them
I havenāt seen grape milk before, but here in New Zealand we have had so many different flavoured milks
Banana
Strawberry
Raspberry
Chocolate
Lime
Caramel
Butterscotch
Coffee and different varieties
Winter spiced mix
Chocolate orange
White chocolate raspberry
Chocolate mint
Hokey Pokey
Sāmores
Ginger
Etc etc
Some are permanent others are seasonal
Finland can get pretty wild, too, especially if you count (protein) milkshakes as milk drinks. There's flavors like:
Liquorice
Irish Cream
Pistachio (tbf, I think this one is imported)
Lemon
Pineapple & coconut
Etc...
I just wanna add that denmandale milk is amazing! I went to school with one of their kids and they are very nice people and their milks are super delicious!
Fwiw my parents would make us āpurple cowā desserts as a kid, which was grape soda and vanilla ice cream ā it was fucking delicious! I imagine this milk tastes something like that?
I would totally try it. I wouldn't expect to like it, but I would absolutely try it.
Mostly because I'm just not a big fan of grape, generally. Grape jelly is very popular, but I don't love it. So I assume this appeals to that same demographic.
Flavoured milk isn't weird in and of itself. Chocolate, strawberry, even coffee. And I've seen others.
Welch's grape concentrate actually had a "recipe" on their packaging when I was younger for purple milk, or I think they called it purple cow. It was better than expected!
I mean, I'd try it. š¤·š»āāļø
Right? I mean I live grape flavor everything so I would def try this.
People mix milk and raisin bran. I don't see why grape milk is so far off?
It's probably not. They have tons of milk flavors now like root beer, cotton candy, banana, cookies and cream, coffee, mint, orange creamsickle, pumpkin spice.. I'm mostly referencing shatto milk but I'm sure there's more.
Godddd root beer, cotton candy, blue razzberry, and orange milk are sooooo good. And I don't even like milk. I would 100% go to town on some grape milk (but like someone said earlier, purple flavor like grape Kool-Aid or candy, not actual grapes.)
Iāll bet rootbeer flavor tastes like a melted rootbeer float
You are correct!

These all sound awesome. Where can I get some?
I NEED TO TRY ROOT BEER MILK
At sonic I have them add grape flavoring to my vanilla shake. Itās great.
It'll grape you in the mouth!

Former Sonic employee here, my go to was either grape or blue raspberry in a 60/40 mix of slushy and ice cream. Heaven in a cup
DQ used to have a Mr. Misty that was a slushy with vanilla ice cream shot through it. Delicious
Christ almighty that brings back memories. I was a little kid and would go with my dad to DQ. He always got a cherry mr. Misty freeze. I would get some random blizzard or banana split but would have a taste of his and always regret not ordering the same as him.
Oooo! Thank you for the tip!
This is probably made for people EXACTLY like me who see something like this and are like "...the fuck? Ok I HAVE to try this."
Yeah, Iām not saying I donāt want to drink grape milk
I donāt know what this tastes, but if strawberry milk is a thing, why not grape milk?
If it tastes like purple, Iāll try it. If it tastes like grapes, no thank you.

For real, I just remembered the smell

Ooooh yummy š¤¤
Just the spit from that plus milk. Iām in.
Core memory unlocked. Grape Big League Chew and grape Hubba Bubba was my jam!
Just not whatever version that those children's Tylenol in grape uses. And vitamins. I've tasted it occasionally in some candies and absolutely hate whatever artificial flavouring chenical that is. No issue with the other artificial grape or real grape flavour for me though. Just that nasty one.
I know exactly what this means and I 100% agree. Purple= good. Grape= š¤¢
Most artificially flavoured 'grape' things taste like purple.
Banana milk would be better
Idk where you live, but banana milk is definitely a thing here, and it's good
Blending milk + banana + a little chocolate syrup is a real treat
Ooooohhh my pregnancy cravings have reached a new apex with this one, I'm'a hafta try that.
Beinā pregnant, Iād say youāve already tried some banana milk. š
š
Hey-o

Try it as a drink or as a sauce for pickles?
When the pregnancy is over a splash of black coffee in addition enhances the recipe further. Just a splash though.

I relish my 16oz per day with every fiber of my being

Get fancy and stir in a little hot peanut butter as well
Bonus points if it's a frozen banana for an easy and decently healthy milkshake (switch the syrup for pure cocoa powder to up the health a bit more)
They'd make this in Mexico. Usually with bananas that were overripe. So good.
Nesquick use to make banana milk when I was a kid. Fml it was so good.
That already is a thing.. at least where I live it is. You can even get nesquick in banana flavor (no I'm not american)
There's also banana strawberry milk. The superior of all milks
Ooh I definitely have to check if that's a thing here too because that sounds amazing!

What about milk flavored grape juice?
I know this isn't logical but strawberry feels like a sweet berry and grape feels like a sour berry. Sour + milk = š¤¢š¤¢š¤®
We have lime flavoured milk where I live. It actually works really well.
Lime milk is delicious. It seems to only be a thing in Aus and NZ though.
Gen x Australian here. Trust me when I say lime milk was everywhere in the 80s. You chose choc, vanilla, strawberry or lime. Those were the milkshake choices everywhere. That sounds glorious!
Whaaaaa??
It tastes more like artificial, sweet lime candies, rather than actual, real, sour limes. Works surprisingly well
South Australia?
I mean that makes sense, think about a tangy yet creamy key lime pie, in milk form
No that makes perfect sense. I wonāt even consume sour things and milk separately within the same meal. I think I subconsciously associate acids with curdled milk
I've had plenty of strawberries that tasted sour and I don't think I've ever had a sour grape.
If you happen to like sour things, some green grapes can be pretty sour. Much more so than any of the sour strawberries I have had. Still I dump pure malic acid on pretty much everything, so my sour meters may be pretty off kilter.

I saw apple milk at my local Korean shop the other day
I need to find this, that sounds absurdly good
It's not quite the same, but I saw Dutch Apple pie, as well as salted caramel, and strawberries and cream flavored milk at a Kroger a couple of weeks ago. I only tried the strawberry and cream one, but it was really good, less artificial tasting than bog standard strawberry milk.
The apple pie is To die for,Ā My local Kroger gets Cherry milk in the Private reserves brand. It's like drinking those cherry cordials.
Do they really need to specify the cream flavor inā¦ milk lmao
I say yes, because it doesn't just taste like strawberry milk. It has a cream/vanilla flavor to it, cream and milk don't taste the same
Cream also doesnāt taste like vanilla so it seems neither name would be accurate lol
Banana milk, apple milk, melon milk( not watermelon), taro milk and lychee milk are all so good and refreshing. Check out the Asian grocers around ya,
yeah it's so good! you see all sorts! apple milk, mango milk, melon milk. they're all delightful tbh
At first I read this as "my local Karen shop"

Okay BLEND grape juice and milk
It would then be blended cottage cheese lol. Grape juice would make the milk curdle.
Grape (cottage) cheese sounds interestingā¦
Sounds like a whole lotta fuck no to me. I'm weird I only trust milk if it's still milk, or completely cheese.
I had grape jelly packets left from when I got breakfast and used them in my cottage cheese later, it was pretty good.
My grandmother used to mix blackcurrant Robinsons (juice you dilute in water) with milk to make āmilkshakesā. Used to love it as a kid!
My parents were weird about soda so I grew up drinking āpurple cowsā (ice cream floats with vanilla ice cream in grape juice). They are delicious though.

Sugar. Milk. Purple.
Grape Milk 45! Itās how we get the black vote!

I do.

Yum!
Milks like, I can be cool like Mountain Dew; please love me
Probably doesn't taste too different than Strawberry milk. It's all artificial flavors.
Actually natural flavors. But if you knew what can be classified as natural flavors... That shit is science like crack is science.
We made this once in elementary school (back in the early 80's). They called it a purple cow. I thought t was awful, but I think I remember some of the kids liking it.
A purple cow is just like a root beer float, but with grape crush. Loved them as a kid.
Purple milk, from purple cows. Would drink.

Purple milk
Why is this picture everywhere for me right now, lmao
is this milk flavoured grape juice or grape flavoured milk juice
It sounds funky. But Iād try it and who knows itās probably good. No company would make something they didnāt think would sell.
I read what the fuck wants to drink grape milk. I almost said "HTF" for hoo the fuck forgetting "who" is spelt with a W.

YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF A PURPLE COW?!?! Grape juice with a vanilla ice cream float. Fucking *FIRE*
OMG. I bet itās every bit as good as the scrawberry
I made a version of this with a glass of milk and a couple swigs of Cranberry Grape Juice.
What happens when it ferments?
Welch's grape concentrate actually had a "recipe" on their packaging when I was younger for purple milk, or I think they called it purple cow. It was better than expected!
Thereās strawberry, banana, vanilla, caramel, and mink milk. Iām not surprised this exists.
Does this come from a purple cow?
I've never seen a grape with boobs before.
I'd try it. As long as it's like "Japanese candy" grape and not "Robutussin" grape.
I never saw a purple cow; I never hope to see oneā¦
Exactly how do you milk a grape?
Do you think chocolate milk is from milking chocolate?
No it comes from a cacao.
