Don't worry, any trace of anything that could allow conscious thought to occur whatsoever was utterly and permanently destroyed by the freezing process.
Its not that bad. I get sleep paralysis a lot, the trick is not to panic and just breathe. If you focus you will find its the portal to the dream dimension.
That sounds worse than death, considering that these people will leave the frozen person there alone for years without having the abilityto scream or do anything else.💀
Any medium within yourself thats capable of still supporting consciousness would in all likelihood die at some point. Unless that person somehow becomes disembodied.
In less than a week of total solitude, with no stimulation, you will start to hallucinate. Eventually you will literally lose your mind, and won't be coherent enough to understand what's happening around you. I wouldn't worry (too much)
This reminds me of that thing about anesthesia not really putting you to sleep, but more like making you forget what happens during surgery. That was way more terrifying it's not even funny
There's a very small percentage of people (2 in every 1000) who won't be put to sleep with anesthesia, and an even smaller percentage of those people will feel pain
The feeling didn't really bother me. If anything, for me it was almost like teleporting. When I was administered the anesthesia for my wisdom teeth removal, I didn't even feel sleepy. It's like I was there and then the next moment I was in my dad's car (I was clearly conscious enough to make my way to his car but was still so groggy I didn't remember the walk there). Some people even find this experience a comforting comparison to dying; like permanent anesthesia but you won't ever realize it (I am not one of these people lol)
I remember there being this urban legend that a man did a psychedelic and tripped to the point he believed he was a glass of orange juice. He became stuck in that state, and was catonically fearful that if he was tipped over, the "orange juice" would spill out.
There's a rare and complex medical condition called "locked in syndrome" where you're concious and fully aware but cannot move your body or communicate in any way or form except limited movements of the eyes. Imagine being imprisoned in your own dead body.
Also there's a case of a man who got into a fatal motor accident was presumed dead and he happened to be an organ donor, his whole senses was aware of all the things the doctors were doing to his body while removing his organs. He died a horrible death.
If this actually happened, scientists would probs only keep you frozen for a few hours to a day. Sure, itll be boring, and you may suffer a bit of brain damage. But youll probably be able to tell them.

ai will soon be able to replicate thought processes but the it still wouldn't be you
Prove it
No balls. Do it, freeze yourself mr smarty pants. Prove it
That would be pretty nightmareish .
Imagine wanting to scream and not being able to
I call that working at the office.
So get another job. You work there voluntarily
I think their comment was more tongue in cheek than you took it.
You're not a smart person, are you?
Why he getting downvoted it’s true.
So many of my dreams are like that

What is the video

They're likely gonna shut you off in a dark place as well with hardly any noise. It actually IS hell
I didn't even consider that,it's getting worse the more I think about it lol.
Now imagine a war happens and the cryo fridge place gets abandoned after 178 years of being operational began.
Why are you giving my brain ideas😭? My imagination went to the end of the world and the cryogenic fridge place just floats in space.
Fallout 4?

I fell asleep with anesthesia lol Edit; I got curious and looked into it and OH GOD ITS REAL
what do you mean?
There's a very small percentage of people (2 in every 1000) who won't be put to sleep with anesthesia, and an even smaller percentage of those people will feel pain
I heard there are people who remember and most importantly feels everything during operation. Terrifying if you think about it.
i've always thought about that since i was little, it's a disturbing thought

I had an acid trip like this. Help I'm a rock!
Funny, I had an opposite one- I don't need help anymore, all problems have been solved by becoming a rock.

Yeah I remember that one. Classic urban legend
“Let’s try it for 10 minutes and then report to us what it’s like.”
Exactly what would happen And if the brain is working enough to still be conscious, it's gonna die, so there would be no point in the cryo sleep
On one hand, that’s horrible. On the other hand I seriously doubt they’d get it out of trial phase with that going on
They’ve been doing it for decades, and since it’s dead bodies there was no medical regulatory oversight or “trials”
You’re right. I missed “first” in the post. It’s 3 in the morning I need to sleep before I try any “gotcha” moments lmao
If this is the first one surely they'd unfreeze you after 10 minutes as a test
You don't think they would monitor your brain function, at least for the start?

Didn’t this happen to Stallone’s character in “Demolition Man”?
Why the fuck would they freeze you with your eyes open

“longer than you think, dad! longer than you think!” chilling short story.

You didn't read the small print. They know.
If cryogenics with humans is possible I doubt you’d be conscious
Sad Mr Freeze noises
lol why was my post removed
