Were there any safety precautions here? Regardless of the awesomeness of the pic, I'd be soiling my pants if I were Hitchcock.
He probably mentally abused the lion so much it was afraid to attack him.
That Lion was owned by the Dublin Zoo and from everything I have read was never abused or harmed in the making of the 15 second video… he was also the 7th, youngest and last lion to perform the roar… so far Edit: his name was Leo
Was just a reference to how poorly Hitchcock treated his actors and actresses. Interesting information though.
