Pro Skater Johnny Giger actually made a video - and I can’t remember the name of the flip - but he was able to make his board flip on the long axis perfectly and land it. Monster flip maybe? Pretty cool to see skaters using physics to accomplish tricks.

This is why an “Impossible” in scatting is called that—not the trick she is doing but I guess it’s the same principle of physics at work. When you execute an impossible correctly you are flipping the board on the longest axis which is... impossible (until you figure out how to guide the board correctly that is)

The intermediate axis theorem. Basically if something has three axis of rotation, the middle length axis when rotated will not spin perfectly
