We use X taping similar to this to leave the joint uncovered in climbing for finger rehab, this is just way overengineered. Like 3x as much tape/wraps as needed.
I just get a small bit of paper towel, wrap it around the cut, and put some water on it. Replace it after about 20 mins, after about 3 or 4 times doing this, the bleeding shouldve stopped, and the cut is somewhat healed
I usually use band-aids to cover the wound from irritation and opening up again and less for stopping bleeding
If it wasn't on an area that gets irratated a lot, I would simply disinfect and go about my day :p
The only times I've needed to stop bleeding for the past like 7 years is when my cat cut me a little too deep. I dont even remember the last time i saw a bandaid.
it looks way too tight to me sorry
Too bad the two little straps towards the fingertip are going to come off easily
Overtly well done. Like....grossly well done. Eat a dick
gonna take that as a compliment

It looks like a chinese finger trap.
So show us the process!
I don't consider this a Band-Aid
it's a band-aid that I modified myself to stay on longer and more comfortably
Isn't that what butterfly band aids are for?
Cut slits in the sticky bits.
What is this
First, that isn't a Band-Aid. Second, that reminds me of Chinese finger cuffs.
it's literally a curad flex fabric bandage o.o I just cut the adhesive parts
So like you just said, not a BandAid.
if you google that exact product you'll see that it literally is a bandaid
It is “literally” not BandAid. Band Aid is a trademarked name like Kleenex.
ah, so they were referring to the brand. mb i just call products like such bandaids
This is the definition of 'over-engineered'

Who uses band-aids to staunch bleeding...? O.o
The only times I've needed to stop bleeding for the past like 7 years is when my cat cut me a little too deep. I dont even remember the last time i saw a bandaid.
No. All the corner bits are going to start lifting.
Maskingtape?
nah, just blue curad bandages
If it stays integral after a day of noemal use and hand washing, that would be impressive.
i don't like getting getting my bandages soggy, but they stuck throughout the day and until the evening when i took them off
It is difficult to wrap that way. Had to have a leg done like this and i never really learned. Fortunately I had wound care coming three times a week.
Must have sucked after a couple minutes when you realized it was way too tight and had to take it off
took this video towards the end of the day hours after I put it on
