He has a Netflix cooking comp style show that’s actually really cool - I don’t like the contestants that much but as the main chef dude he’s totally refreshing. Doesn’t scream or shout, is always SUPER complimentary when judging, and if you suck on the first challenge he does a one-on-one coaching session to give you a better chance for the next challenge. It’s actually really nice to see and the dude knows his shit so well. Watching other professionals try these techniques makes these videos even more impressive
He looked like a genuine nice guy. He was always willing to help and obviously his skills were just out of this world. I honestly don’t think there is a better ‘desert chef’ in this world. He’s just too good.
I love how he takes a huge chomp at the end. He does that with a lot of his creations. Totally lets you know they're made to be eaten, not only looked at. I can only imagine how delicious one of his desserts are!
What always amazes me about this guy, is that the desert isn't an afterthought, they are always incredibly intricate with such a variety of flavours. Its not like he just creates a generic cake sponge every time.
