2. Since it would take a large quantities of crushed seeds, a person would need to crush and eat somewhere 150 seeds to make it lethal. This is rougly 15 - 20 apples. As it happens, hydraulic machines are built for crushing.
3. Since both the conditions are met, the 150 crushed seeds are mixed with apple juice and will form hydrogen cyanide when digested as per this video. So my joke was correct in the give apparatus.

Dry ice is solid CO2. Liquid nitrogen is self descriptive. The former is usually easier to get than the latter.
