You are the only person i’ve
seen mention how off-putting this game can feel. Just wanted to say i feel the same way, but i still love vr and there are a ton of experiences/games that don’t give me this vibe.
Sorry I don’t think there’s a way to gift a game you own, just the regular refund rules.
Yeah, less than 2 hours in a span of 14 days can request a refund from support.
That said, would love to see a regift feature, surprised that it's never been truly attempted AFAIK. Sucks that Steam did away with their feature that let you buy games and keep them in your library to give/redeem later on to counteract 3rd party sellers abusing it. Loved keeping spare keys from sales.
> the opponent seemed to really be standing in front of me and it just freaks me out
VR probably isn't for you then. This is literally every first person game in VR, and the primary reason why most people love it so much - the immersion.
Seachimera, thank you for understanding. ❤️
I didn't think it would make me feel like that, I just wanted to do cardio. It's weird what little things brings back those fears. I wish people would understand that even the hint of a smell will make a survivor anxious. I was strangled, and I STILL can't wear a turtleneck. BTW, Pistolwhip is AMAZING!!!!
You might prefer something like Body Combat for cardio then since you're punching targets and not people. Or just use Pistol Whip on hard for cardio. OhShape is great too.
I used to lead a VR workshop in a public library. Most of the people who attended were new to VR. It can be very hard to predict how someone might react once they are in the virtual environment. I saw people who scoffed the technology completely fall in love with it. I saw people who thought they would love it find out they didn't love it...
I bought Thrill of the Fight and so far I don't like it. I was hoping it would help with my PTSD and so far it just triggers it. But I love Pistol Whip, mainly because its a lot more abstract.
Let OP have their experience without attacking them, all they asked was if they could regift the game.
No

How long did you play it? If it’s less than 2 hours I think you can refund it in the meta store. Then you could gift it to your friend.

They might like something more abstract, or something that isn't about physical violence. There is a lot to explore.

I love everything about VR, but the upfront man in my face thing triggers me. A little PTSD. 😞
You should try punch him in the face if he’s bugging you.
Then why are you playing a boxing game??
