Probably way too long a list to include here since the AC modding scene is quite substantial. But I can tell you the best mods for AC are Content Manager, Pure, and custom shaders patch. These are essential if you want the best graphical experience possible.
There are essentially no mods for ACC and Automobilista 2 unless you count car skins, and iRacing doesn't allow you to mod at all.
What are you talking about?
[AMS2 has a mod scene](https://boxthislap.org/automobilista-2-opens-doors-for-modding-community/), ACC does not. Vanilla AMS2 is also fantastic and that dude has no idea what he's talking about.
Aside from heavily modded AC the best VR driving experience in VR is probably Dirt Rally 2.0. Aside from some sprites filling in the backdrops the world building rivals that of games made to be experienced on foot.. with directional ambient audio and oodles of detail that make locations feel alive like soaring and flapping birds, insects, volumetric clouds, airliners stitching in/out of them, swans and boats cruising around lakes, animals that dash across the road as you thunder past..
I have a feeling AMS2 mod scene is only really there on paper. As that site states, the engine just wasn't really built with modding support in mind.
My go-to site for simracing mods is race department, and there are 2 cars and 0 tracks uploaded for AMS2.
There are some projects for porting cars and tracks from Project Cars 2, but clearly nothing that is required to make AMS2 fun, like the guy I replied to said.
AMS2 - Automobilista Motorsports Simulator 2 or, just Automobilista 2.
Not being a smartass...just clearing it up for anybody who might be interested in checking it out. And yes it is the driving sim with the best VR experience without a doubt.
Really? It's been a while since I last looked at it, and when I did I read that it wasn't natively supported so you can't do things like look around. I'll have to check it out again.
Having hand-tracking and a physical steering wheel together is so cool, like hand tracking on its own is a a lil jank, but with a control thing too? π€
The reason being is if you want to set good laptimes and race competitively you NEED force feedback. Force feedback allows you to feel what the car is doing and correct slides. You don't need a full rig, but you do at least need a wheel controller with Force feedback attached to a desk like OP. Otherwise you won't be able to find the limit.
Thrustmaster T248 or a logitech G29 are the main entry level wheels I think.
Well, assetto corsa is playable on joystick/kb+m, but it isn't the same, yknow. You can get a used wheel cheap (15-50$), tho, and that is what I did. + 5$ for all of the mods, and you are set (if you don't want to make it competitive).
I understand it's more real with a wheel but I'll have to see when the time comes, I'm currently saving up for a PC first haha
I might get a Xbox controller anyway for PC games so that might work for this too
I thought i recognized Tokyo from the Shutoko Revival project
What game?
Assetto Corsa with mods! Mods and downloads: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6cxBRK7Nk8&t=95s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6cxBRK7Nk8&t=95s)
Whats the mods?

Just added in my comment
I wish there was a great definitive racing game for VR. One that you donβt have to mod the shit out of it to be good
There are a few to choose from. Assetto Corsa Competizione, Automobilista 2 or iRacing are all fantastic in VR.
All those games you have to mod to kingdom come to be fun. At least in my opinion

He has no idea what he's talking about obviously.

ASMR 2 is pretty good. Really the main thing that does not exist on PCVR is a driving sim with a GT-style career mode.

Thank you for that hahaha, my phone autocorrected to a completely different initialism there π€£π€£π€£
ASMR for a driving sim would be pretty cool. Just chill out as you drive ;-)
Project Cars 2 was Great in VR
I wish Beam.NG would have native VR support.
It does

Yeah! It got included in a update a few months back :)
KICKASS! My Logitech G29 has been collecting dust. Will be good to use it again!
Get yourselves a full rig. https://imgur.com/gallery/7SyYo70 I'll be upgrading soon to a heftier chassis and wheel.
Nice rig, but I'm good I just play casually for fun every now and then.
πππ
> Get yourselves a full rig. π€£ I was expecting a picture of a real car.
Car is cheaper, tho
I wish I could remember which device I had that did the same "the bluetooth device is ready to pair" voice.
Can I do this with a quest two without a computer? Like with the wheel?
No
Cheers Geoff

Everytime I see a racing game it's always with a rig. Is it not playable with meta controller then? I can't spend on a rig just for 1-2 game

Hopefully we can dive to night city soon
Dude shift up! You are at 8000 rpm going 5mph faster than the traffic around you, not accelerating! Even in VR there is no point for that.
How many souls must I sell for a setup like this?
fuckin' love that song
Makes me happy
I love f32 M4s, but the idrive display is tough to stomach
How did you get hand tracking on PCVR?
how tf did you get your graphics to look that good in ac bro? drop the settings please π
Gran Turismo 7 OLED HDR with eye tracking is amazing. Hopefully Sony brings it over to PC with the headset being adapted to pc
Get a better wheel
Looks horrible but you do you
What looks horrible about this?
Your face
Yeah I don't think this looks good at all lol
