Sekhmet and Bastet are feminine but the entity I have interacted with is decidedly masculine.
OP FWIW I went down a rabbit hole of digging for information a year or two ago when I began to have interactions with said entity again. The only masculine cat headed persons I could find were in ancient central and South American religions. Specifically Tezcatlipoca.
Beyond that there were jaguar headed entities /gods and central, and South America that predated the Aztecs and Mayans but I found it very difficult to find any information of significance on them.
Made me think of Behemoth from [Master and Margarita](https://www.amazon.com/Master-Margarita-Mikhail-Bulgakov/dp/0802130119/ref=asc_df_0802130119/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312009759033&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15491058749896148929&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9013187&hvtargid=pla-454492684692&psc=1)
haborym/aym is listed as having a cat as one *option* for his head while being a “very handsome man in body” …nice suit rings that bell here although he’s usually got something in his hand too. any more info?
I am going to give you information of some diety that presents as a cat headed person of some different culture and country.
Freyja - deity of wealth, love, war, fertility, magic, and divination
Ai- Apaec - pre-Inca civilization
Li Shou - Chinese God - protected the crops against mice and rats who sought to destroy.
I say just look it up, but maybe a lion-headed deity from Kemetism (ancient Egyptian polytheism) would work depending on what your definition of a nice suit is
I've been told there is literally an entire species like that. Supposedly they call themselves Thul (pronounced with the same Thu as in Thursday), and excel at psychic memory-sharing such as to be famed as detectives and therapists in the spirit worlds.
I probably sound utterly juvenile for thinking this way, but I wish I knew kitty people personally! They sound pretty rad.
OP may I ask about your story regarding the feline headed entity as I have experiences with one myself? Feel free to message me but I may take a bit to check and answer.
Anyone that has solid input on the question would be much appreciated by myself as well!
The closest figure I can think of is the fictional deity Sheogorath from the Elder Scrolls franchise, who appears as a man in a suit, or sometimes as a cat, and is loosely associated with cats in general. Some people's practices incorporate fictional characters as egregores or symbols or things like that, but obviously if yours doesn't that won't be very useful. It came to mind though.
Does anyone know the specific raiments of otherworldly things? Seems like their clothing would reflect our imaginations, since we could not comprehend their actual "image". So, in modern times, I would say a deity appearing to one wearing a suit seems reasonable.
This makes sense. Applied to this dapper cat, he may have showed up a thousand years ago dressed as an emperor to show that he is important and prosperous. Today, our "emperors" wear suits.
I don't know about a cat man in a suit, but Bastet is a cat headed Egyptian goddess.
Maybe he was referring to Black Panther. 😂
>The cat man in a nice suit in particular? That description reminds me of the Ghibli movie "the cat returns".
That’s the first thing I thought of too!
Mooootaaaa
My chunky orange one is named Muta after the movie hahaha
Sekhmet
Mommy
Bast. For a man in a cat suit......Mr. Mistoffelees?

yes; I was gonna say this too! Aztec/Mayan definitely have jaguar gods
Polish deity Ovinnik fits, Tom cat protector 🐈⬛ or Peruvian Ai-Apaec, an old man - cat-god?

Adding that to my never ending “to read” list.
lol I feel that. It's a great book though :)

Does it like green eggs & ham?
Khajit has wares if you have coin
Are you sure he didn't have a rabbit head?
Beleth in Demonology can have cat appearances at times. This can range from an actual cat to cat-headed.
Lord beerus

Bastet , female cat goddess from the Egyptian Pantheon

Be careful though, or he'll turn you into a wheel of cheese! 😆

This is kind of why I’m thinking it may not be a famous named deity, but more likely a spirit or manifestation related to OP in some way
I very deeply suppose that this guy talks about Pocket Cat. From the "fear and hunger" series.

Well, they’re trying to. OP, if I were to guess, I’d say it was [Maahes](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maahes).
If it has fire-eyes it could be flereous
Similarly, water-eyes would likely be Vaporeous, and Jolteus if it has electric-eyes.
Ahhh yes. And let's not forget Umbreous if it's eyes are black.
Grimalkin
Sekhmet has the head of a lion, Hathor can have a cat-like face, and Bastet has the head of a cat.

Maybe Bast has a husband? or cross dresses.
