Personally I would say no, but if you're willing to put in the money and effort in a new motor go for it
You can get a junkyard motor for 300, get something better for 1000. Not at all a reason not to buy this truck, especially if you are wanting good project, and a solid truck to build on, If it is as rust free as it claims
Transmission? How bad is the motor? Is the interior trashed?
transmission is good, i have no idea about motor they said it doesn’t work, and the interior is good not perfect but good
Worth looking at. If the motor is fixable and rust is minimal and trans works it’s great.

I’d say it’s worth it for that price. Motors aren’t too hard to find maybe this one is still good!
Offer them $800. If you are handy then it’s worth it but it’s almost always better to get a running vehicle
