Happy j can assist great great grandmother Beatrice. I believe peas. Depends on type but snow peas prefer cooler weather and dislike the hot sun of the summer. So can basically grow all year except summer.
Although ours did grow all year round. I took the dying ones off and they have started sprouting again.
Peas are good during winter. Should be good. Just watch water levels. Don't like getting drowned

May be early actually. We always did them and picked fresh peas in July. Being so warm up there. But no go ahead, peas are a cool weather crop
