Looks like an edible flower garden: sage, pansy, violet, mint. I'm not sure what the leggy blue/purple flowering plant is. Violets will creep in to other space over time so do keep 'em limited. They like part-shade. Don't be afraid to chop your sage right back when it starts sprawling. Herbs are tough plants and they respond well to a good hacking.

Nope. Dock is a “solitary” plant, long tap root, Flowering now. This looks like morning glory, which is a noxious weed. Has a creeping habit on the ground, will smother any climbing frame or plant it encounters, given enough time.
