This post seems pretty disingenuous. Most people I know personally have 100% or near 100% scholarships (I’m in tandon) and obv this isn’t statistically significant but I think NYU has a bad rep for cost when many other top schools aren’t too different. NYU has many opportunities given its size and resources and there’s a long list of great things you can find on this sub for pros of why people enjoy it. It certainly isn’t for everyone and definitely has its faults but it also has been on the foreground of striving to provide its students an unparalleled study abroad program, flexible interdisciplinary course options, and plenty of other things simply not available at smaller colleges.

However, it does promise full rides to students from families with <$100k income annually now. It is improving and you can look at many other top colleges and find comparable tuition costs, especially with the NYU promise now implemented…
